Location: Anahola, North Kauai, Kauai, Hawaii, USA (5-10 minutes N. of Kapaa. A Homestay Property.)

Accommodations:  Vacation Retreat, 1 Bedroom + Den, 1 Bath (Sleeps 2-3)

This beautiful island-style Kauai vacation retreat rests in a lush tropical setting. Birds splash in the river as it flows by, and mountain peaks rise close behind this exceptional Kauai retreat. The sound of ocean waves calls you to an uncrowded beach just five minutes away. Walk over the wide lawn for a quiet moment by the river bank under the giant monkeypod shade tree.

The open, island-style architectural design of your two room semi-detached guest suite takes full advantage of the sub-tropical beauty which surrounds it. Guests enjoy self-catered or our personally catered meals while looking out on our gently flowing river, coconut and papaya trees, and exotic tropical plants and flowers.

Your garden and forest-view suite is appointed island-style. It has a private entry, skylights to view the stars at night and a queen-size bed. For you quiet evening's entertainment, curl up with one of the books provided, or pick a movie to view from bed. Your private bath (with tub and shower) is between your bedroom and private kitchenette.

For your explorations and enjoyment, we provide (free) boogie boards, snorkel equipment, coolers, beach mats and bikes.

It is our intention to provide an easy way to book your Hawaii lodging, with anticipation of a delightful and unusual tropical vacation retreat on Hawaii's "Garden Island." Humberto and Tatiana look forward to welcoming you to this part of paradise.

Centrally located in Anahola on the east coast of Kaua'i, we are close to hidden sub-tropical beaches, as well as beautiful river, jungle, and mountain walks. Yet Kapaa's shopping and restaurants are only ten minutes away. We are also midway between the rugged Na Pali cliffs of the north shore, and the serene beauty of the Waimea Canyon on the west side of the Island.

Relax on our huge lawn and enjoy views of the river and forest. Everywhere you look, you are soothed by shades of green - fields, coconut groves, riverbanks, and mountains. It's truly an idyllic rest spot in a healthy sub-tropical environment.

Dining options: Your kitchenette includes a mini-fridge, broiler oven, microwave, coffee maker and kettle affording the opportunity to prepare breakfasts, lunches and light meals throughout the day. Optionally, many guests enjoy the many nearby restaurants for their evening meal. This room may also be used as a separate sitting/dressing room. The small sink in the adjacent private bath is used for wash-up.

Stress-release, yoga, Hawaiian Temple Bodywork and Island Enchantment massage sessions are also available. Hawaiian Temple Bodywork is a sacred form of bodywork originally performed to mark rites of passage in the temples of ancient Hawaii. Tatiana looks forward to working with you and can be contacted through Island Enchantment. Intuitive Healing Massage and other forms are available from resident and nearby practitioners. Just give us a call, or let us know when you arrive.

Your hosts, Humberto and Tatiana have been welcoming visitors - providing seminar, conference, vacation and spa services - since coming to the Island twenty-one and thirteen years ago, respectively. Tatiana is from Wales in the U.K. and provides many of the relaxing and rejuvenating treatments. They look forward to sharing the wonders of paradise with you.
