Aloha Melinda, We had a great time on Maui and thanks for again allowing us to share your wonderful condo. One of the things that make your place special is the queen beds in each of the bedrooms (not readily found in other units) and of course the location of the unit and the swivel rockers on the lanai. We are really getting to know Maui and look forward to our return. As you are aware this time we got more than we bargained for – a Tsunami. Now we know what it’s like for four people to spend a night in a van at an evacuation site. However, the other thousand people that joined us in their cars were good company. Hi Melinda, I just wanted to take a minute and tell you how much we enjoyed our stay in Maui and more specifically, your unit at the Maui Sunset. The location of the complex itself was centrally located within close proximity to both the many beautiful beaches in and around Wailea as well as an easy commute to the airport. The grounds of the complex at the Maui Sunset were immaculate. The golf green like lawns were beautiful to look out and play bocce on . The grounds and pool were well maintained in spite of the heavy trade winds that stirred up during our stay in Maui. Your unit itself was nicely decorated, bright and very well equipped with plenty of room for the 4 adults staying in the unit. We really enjoyed the views of the pool, the grounds, the ocean and we witnessed some beautiful sunsets from the lanai. We are looking forward to returning to Maui as soon as possible and we hope to be able to extend our stay in your condo to a month the next time. The breakfast was delicious and we really appreciated your generous spirit. We very much enjoyed your unit. It was beautifully decorated and was very comfy and homey and on our whole trip, it was our favorite place to stay. We would certainly like to stay there again if it works out for another time. Hi Melinda, I wanted to let you know that we absolutely had an awesome time in Maui and a huge part of it was your unit. It was very comfortable and in a perfect location. We love the way you decorated and it was updated nicely. The view from the lanai was perfect. We were so busy that we didn't even get to use the pool but we will take advantage of it the next time. Hi Melinda, Just to let you know that we had a wonderful holiday in Maui and really enjoyed staying in your condo at the Maui Sunset. The weather was great and your unit was terrific!! As we were locking up the final load of laundry was drying in the dryer so your cleaners just had to make the beds and fold the towels and then the light housekeeping. Again thank you!! Hello Melinda, It has been two weeks since our return from beautiful Maui and boy do I miss it! We had the best time! The weather was prefect and the island wasn't very busy. Courtney and I snorkeled almost every weekday, leaving the beaches to the locals on the weekends. We snorkeled Molokini and saw dolphins and turtles. We must have over 400 hundred pictures of the sunset from the beach at the condo. I read six books!! We went to the swap meet in town twice to get fresh fruit and vegetables. This was the most relaxing vacation ever! Thank you so much for your generosity. We left the condo with fresh towels in the baths, fresh linens on the beds and the kitchen cleaned. Aloha Melinda,Just wanted you to know we thought your condo was fabulous and its location in the complex made everything so easy. It was so nice to eat on the lanai and watch the sunset and whales all at the same time. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer décor and everything we needed was right there. – especially all necessary beach items. We also saw all kinds of furniture on many different lanais, but those swivel rockers of yours beat them all. We are happy you allowed us to share your own little paradise. Hi Melinda, Wow!! Words can't describe it!! The stay was amazing.... The condo is the nicest one on the block. :) Everything was upgraded and new. The landscapers/groundskeepers kept the complex in absolute tip top shape. We truly thought the grass was fake! We sure couldn't have that kind of grass in Arizona.... Thanks for the towels, chairs, ice chest and umbrella. It all came in handy. Also can't forget to thank you for the complimentary wireless internet. Hi Melinda, The condo was great. Thank you for letting us have a late check out on the Saturday, that help a lot. The weather was great a little windy at times. The grounds were so well maintained that at times you would not see a leaf on the grass or in the pool and that's with the wind blowing. Everyone had a good time so we will probably do it again. Dear Melinda, Sorry it's taking me so long to respond back but we finally got all our wedding stuff done!!!! I really wanted to thank you for having such a warm, inviting and beautiful place in Maui. The condo had everything we could have needed and then some. The decor was just perfect and having the modern touches made a big difference. We were pleasantly surprised to see the large inventory of towels and beach items that were in the closet for our use. Thank you also for the welcome gift basket....we ended up using practically all the stuff in it and of course the pineapple was delicious!!! We miss eating out in the lanai overlooking the ocean!!! We enjoyed our stay and loved your condo. It's central location was perfect for all the adventures we had. Our son's wedding on the Makena Cove Beach,seeing mama and baby whales,snorkeling at Molokini Crater, swimming with Pamela Anderson at Wailea Beach,and toasting to the beautiful sunset at the beach at the condo. We cleaned,did the wash,swept the floors and emptied the clean dishwasher before we left. Our only complaint is the fan in the guest bedroom was a little squeaky, but that's it, we loved it. Hi Melinda, Just to let you know that we really enjoyed our stay at your condo at the Maui Sunset. Your unit is defintely nicely maintained and would be exactly how I would have done it. Very nice. Especially loved the fact that you actually have a washer/dryer just like we have at home that can actually hold more than two towels at a time! Just wanted to say a big mahalo and I am also wanting to book the same unit for next year. Since we do not know our exact dates at this time, we are wondering if you can hold the month of January 2 to February 5th, 2008 for us. We plan to go for a month next year, and it would be great to stay at one place instead of doing what we did this year and moving twice in our three weeks. It also made our holiday a lot nicer that you allowed us to check out late on the last day, as our flight didn't leave until just about midnight. Aloha! Your condo is absolutely beautiful!! We are enjoying it immensely and the grounds and pool area are fabulous. Our girls love the pineapple and palm tree lamps! And they HAD to stay in the room (in their words) "with the hula girl dangly thing" (wall hanging)!! Thanks so much for the use of the wireless internet. It has allowed me to stay in touch with my office and finish up with the details of our event. My husband, Mike, and I had a wonderful time in Maui! We just loved staying in your beautiful condo and wished we could have stayed longer! Everything was so new and clean! The attention to detail that you’ve put into the place is amazing from all the cute decorations to extremely well stocked towels/linens, awesome kitchen, bathrooms, etc. etc.! It was great that you’ve included a cooler that we were able to use on the road to Hanna… The washer/dryer allowed me to get most of our laundry done before we returned home (which turned out to be very important since our own dryer died while we were away and we’re still in the process of replacing it!). The pool, grill area and grounds (great for bocce ball) were put to good use too! We didn’t get around to using some of the items like cd’s, dvd’s, board games, etc, but what a nice touch! It was just wonderful, and I thank you! I would highly recommend your condo to others… And, I hope we can come back again some day!Jackie OlligesMelinda, I would like to add my thanks also. Aloha! We were far from home but it was worth it! We were also honoured to be the first guests of this condo. Maui Sunset Unit A-217 is a very nice, pleasant and peaceful condo with an awesome scenery... You really see Maui sunset every night at the beach! Enjoy your stay like we did! Mahalo!
