Our comfortable and affordable beach rental, directly across from Ventura Marina Park (check link below) and half a block to the beach, is the ideal property for a family vacation or a romantic getaway. It has a garden view and is just steps away from the park, the harbor, and the beach with its beautiful views of the ocean and the Channel Islands.
Enjoy Marina Park where you can walk, bike, fly a kite, have a barbeque, or just relax and watch the surf, sky, and sailboats. You can stroll along Ventura Harbor, or at Channel Islands Harbor, which is 10 minutes away. Rent a paddleboat, kayak, or an electric boat to cruise the harbor. Plan a day trip to the Channel Islands with a local boating company.
This beach retreat is located just 10 minutes from downtown Ventura (check link for Ventura Visitors Bureau below) with many shops, cafes, and gourmet restaurants to choose from. It is 20 minutes from Ojai, 30 minutes from Santa Barbara, and one hour from Los Angeles. There are also neighborhood grocery stores, cafes and restaurants within walking distance.
This is a nicely remodeled ground-floor unit of a beach home with new furniture, tile floors, a fully equipped kitchen, microwave,refrigerator, oven/stove, living area with DSL, cable TV/DVD. Bathroom has shower and tub. There are two queen beds in the bedrooms, and a queen sleeper sofa, comfortably accommodating a family (of 4-5 maximum) or a couple. It offers plenty of privacy and is guaranteed to provide a wonderful place of relaxation or a place to explore and enjoy the outdoors.

Cancellation/Refund Policies
1. All cancellations and refunds (except deposits returned after stay) will incur a $40 processing fee.
2. If you cancel more than 30 days (low season) or 60 days (high season) before check-in, your security deposit will be returned.
3. If you cancel less than 30 days (low season) or 60 days (high season) before check-in, you will forfeit your security deposit.
4. On the first day of the rental, there will be no refunds for any reason for the remainder of your stay.
5. No credit will be given for shortened stays due to late arrival or early departure for any reason.
6. No cancellations/refunds due to weather.

It's a lovely little place with a nice backyard and is 243 steps from the ocean (my four-year-old counted them!). There is also a great park right across the street with lots of space to run around and a playground. The beds were comfortable and everything worked out very well for us... thank for a wonderful week! :)
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+.

We had such a great stay here. When we walked in, it was very cute. Just like the pictures on the site. Everything was clean and neat. Just a short walk to the beach. We were so close to the beach that when we walked out the door we could hear and smell the ocean. It was a quiet neighborhood at night and I would gladly come back again. Brenda, La Verne
