Guests at the Beachfront House will enjoy ocean and sunset views, cooling tradewinds, and the shade of the swaying palms that line the property. The large, partially shaded deck is ideal for outdoor dining, checking the surf, or soaking up the sun. In addition, a far deck is set at the lawn's edge with even better views of the Pacific Ocean. Across the 30 foot lawn, steps lead down to the miles and miles of white sand beach in either direction.
Perfect for three couples, a family (possibly two), or a group of friends, the 'Whitesand Beachfront House' is a cozy, peaceful retreat that sleeps up to eight. It is an incredible spot for the outdoor enthusiast, and the leisure buff.
The interior of the home is simple, yet luxurious. Most of the rooms are furnished with unique Hawaiian pieces, creating an exotic, yet modern environment. The kitchen was designed to be functional and spacious with a large island, top-of-line appliances, and easy-to-clean granite countertops. It opens into the living room and is often the focal point of activity - a great feature if you plan to eat in a lot.
The upstairs (master) bedroom is perfect for the small family, with a King siz bed and a Queen-size pull out bed as well as a private bath. The downstairs bedroom has a Queen-size bed. The third bedroom is a large 20' x 20' bedroom complete with King-size bed, and a Queen pull out bed, a private bath, kitchenette, and it's own entry door.

AMAZING....that is all my family could say when we walked in to this home. We felt at home the minute we walked in and never wanted to leave. We enjoyed watching the whales jumping out of the water while eating breakfast on the patio. We went to Waimea falls, Turtle Bay, Ted's and Haleiwa for some Matsumoto's shaved ice and we were never in the car long because this house has an amazing location. Pete ,the owner, was so wonderful to work with. We can't wait to return to this wonderful home!!!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We just returned from our awesome trip to the North Shore. This house is so amazing! The inside is well equipped, very nicely furnished and well kept. The best part of this house, however is the deck overlooking the beach. We sat out there all day long! You couldn't ask for a better view! We happened to be there during a time with huge waves and it was amazing to sit and watch them roll in. What a site! Pete was great to work with and very personable! Thanks for a great time at the house. Can't wait to go back!!!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, pet owners, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you.

My husband, mother and I were lucky enough to stay at this beautiful home for 5 nights in April. Wow, what a beautiful home! And the View! The location is perfect, directly on the beach. We spent many hours on the shaded viewing platform watching surfers, beach combers, children and dogs playing on the beach. The sunset from this perch was fabulous. The home was neat and tidy. The kitchen was well stocked and had miles of counter space. We ejnoyed breakfast each morning on the patio. The living room (although rarely used) was spacious with comfortable island furniture and TV. The downstairs bedroom was conveniently located with a large bathroom with washer and dryer. The upstairs master bedroom was very large with a big screen TV, sleeper sofa and a beautiful view of Sunset Beach. We didn't need the air conditioner, the trade winds kept the home very cool. We loved the sound of the roaring waves at night. There was a thrid bedroom suite with its own kitchenette and bath as well. Finding the home was easy with directions provided. Great location, Foodland just down the street next to Shark's Cove Grill. Easy drive to Haleiwa and the Polynesian Cultural Center. Beach supplies galore were located in the basement, we wanted for nothing! Pete the owner was great to work with, our deposit check was already received when we returned home. I would highly recommend this home! If I ever have the opportunity to visit Hawaii again, I will definately rent this home again!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, pet owners, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank You, That was nice of you. Aloha Pete

We have stayed at many VRBO houses and this was the best. The property was very clean, well maintained & private. The kitchen was the most well equipped we have seen. The furniture was comfortable and the house suited three couples perfectly. We enjoyed many hours on the large deck and even more on the smaller deck overhanging the beach. It was perfect for watching the surf, surfers and sunsets. I guess we were the beneficiaries of Barb & friends because there was a nice assortment of beach chairs for our use. I would definitely recommend this house. As others have mentioned, a couple of musts are Giovanni's shrimp truck, Ted's Bakery and the best shave ice in all of Hawaii at Matsumotos in Haleiwa.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway, families with teenagers.

We recently returned from a 2-week stay at your house. We can't wait to go back. We were a group of friends, with adults & kids, & the house is set up perfectly with the sofa's in the larger rooms. It's spacious enough that you can have privacy, but the great room is nice for dinner or just hanging out. I can't say enough how much we enjoyed the surf check deck, for evening cocktails or reading in the morning. The lawn is great for kids to play on. The location is perfect, we biked everywhere, to Waimea for the kids to swim, Ted's for breakfast, Foodland, or just to stretch our legs. The only negatives would be traffic noise, which is ever present on the Kam Hwy & a lack of beach supplies. We payed it forward with several beach chairs & some snorkel gear, so future guests can enjoy those.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

It's been a week since we returned for Hawaii and we are already planning our trip for next year!! We love this home! You couldn't ask for a better location...you are right on the beach, you can walk to the grocery store, it's a short walk to Shark's Cove where you can snorkel and wade around the tide pools with your little ones, great surf in every direction...everything is right there!! The home was perfect for our family...it was so easy to let my son run around on the grass and not worry about him wandering down the walkway to the beach. Inside was gorgeous, the home had everything we needed we didn't have to worry about anything, it was all so easy. We enjoyed our stay so much and will for sure be coming back EVERY year. We love it!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

My Wife and I just spent an amazing 10 days at this house! Would highly recommend! About 45 minutes from the city but worth the drive. We enjoyed the sunrise and sunsets each day! Foodland is less than a mile away and convenient for shopping. Hope to stay here again next time. The owners were very easy to work with and very friendly! Just cant say enough good things about this house!! Aloha, Aarika & ShawnRecommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

My family stayed here Aug 6 to 13, 2010 It was one of the best stays we have had in Oahu. Beach every day, BBQ and Wine just a great modern house and friendly owners very accommodating to requests, house had air conditioning on main and upper bedroom but we spent most of the time outside very roomy, The sunsets are amazing, only bad thing was leaving, hope to come back next year for a longer stay. 2 places for the Giovanni shrimp truck a must when on North Shore one in the historical town Helena and one close to the Polynesian center. The house is a drive from the airport but well worth it to stay on a semi private beach and worship the sun, rainbows and sunsets away from the noise relaxing and enjoyable. Hope this review helps othersRecommended for: Families with young children, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with teenagers.

This was the Best house I've ever stayed at on the North Shore. My family had a wonderful vacation. Love the white sand beach in front of the house. We also loved the fact that there was a skateboard park a short bike ride away. We'll be back every year. -- DaveDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
