Our home is a beautiful, three bedroom home with spectacular views of the St.Lawrence Seaway from your own large and private deck. All rentals include use of our private boat slip located just minutes from our home at Seaway Slips. If you like, bring your boat, put it at our slip and spend the week boating - not launching your boat in and out every day. Come enjoy the World Class Salmon and Walleye fishing the Clayton Area is famous for!! If you would like some nightlife and fun - Alexandria Bay is loads of fun with great eateries, stores and night spots.
Do you like Antiques? Numerous antique stores and shops abound in the local area and Clayton is the home of the United States Antique Wooden Boat Museum. Each year there is a week where Antique Boat Owners gather together and show off their beauties - Come and enjoy the nautical past of our United States!! Book Early!!
For your pleasure we have installed Wireless Internet throughout the home, new Cable TV, Two New TV's with DVD capability and phone service to make your stay as pleasant and stress free as possible.
Our home has all new furniture, linens, and accessories ---- We provide all the sheets, bedding and towels.
Our home has been completely renovated over the past winter - you might even think the home is new when you look at the pictures. We have included everything you will need to have a glorious vacation - if we missed something, our office is minutes away, and we will try to meet your needs if something has been overlooked.
Questions we have been asked:
1)What are the rental periods?
We rent this property from Saturday to Saturday almost exclusively - if for some reason we deviate from that policy it will be for a very unusual reason so ask if you have a real need. Please call us if you have any questions or concerns regarding this policy. We are looking for people that will enjoy this home and come back year after year.
2) Are you on the Water?
The picture we have in our site is actual (we have not used zoom or trick photography--One person asked if we had "doctored" the Photo) Our picture shows the view from the deck from a normal camera. Although we are not directly on the water , and do not have direct water access, we have very nice views of the St. Lawrence.
3) How close is the Private Dock from the home?
Our Reserved Dock is less than 1/8 of a mile ( we would define that as within walking distance ) from the house.
4) How big is the dock? Power ?
Dock will handle boats up to 25 feet, Electrical hookup is available , 30Amps>
5) Where can we put our boat trailer?
You may store your trailer in the driveway or, if needed , you may put it on the grass the the left of the house. We ask you do not put a trailer in the backyard.
6)How high is the deck off the ground?
The deck is about 2 1/2 feet off the ground.
7) Can I get more pictures? Absolutely! Just ask and we will send you a link to more pictures!!
To have a wonderful stay you really need only bring yourself, your clothes and a plan to have fun!
