This Lovely Home Made Our A Special Vacation

We have been a lot of places, but your home and property tops them all. There is something so magical about the property and the home that it is impossible to put into words. It was spacious and comfortable, and well equipped and well stocked. It was a quiet retreat from the city, exactly like we were looking for the weekend before the madness of Thanksgiving. The owners went out of their way to provide us with useful local information.

This home exceeded our expectations. We were delighted to find that it was even better than the online photos. The homeowner and property manager were a delight to deal with! We will surely return to spectacular riverfront gem again and again!

Too much of a hassle

This house was not worth the hassles involved. The kitchen had huge flies in it and I spent half hour swatting them before even unpacking the groceries and the family room smelt like the septic system. The trundle bed was inoperable and the bedroom over the hot tub smelled like chorline. I would not reccommend this house even though the back deck was nice and if it had been warmer it would be nice to have a pool. All in all a FAIL

A Wonderful Home for our Family Vacation

Over the last couple of years, we’ve rented this wonderful home on three different occasions. This summer, we visited for the entire month of July. As we have younger children, we enjoyed long leisurely days on the back deck overlooking the beautiful garden and wild meadow beyond. We all spent hours each day enjoying the swimming pool, playing in the very spacious yard or lounging in the hammock. The kids particularly enjoyed playing on the swing set, exploring the property and wandering down to the river that runs along it. Our evenings were spent preparing meals in the terrific kitchen, barbecuing (we even used the great old “smoker” to make ribs and chicken one evening!) and then dining on the deck under the stars. Of course, the area is also wonderful, from the shops and restaurants in nearby Rhinebeck to the charms of the local countryside. We picked blueberries and blackberries and bought supplies at the weekend Farmers Markets in Hudson and Rhinebeck. The owners of the property were always attentive and responsive to any needs we had and were a pleasure to deal with. In short, we had a terrific time and would highly recommend this property to anyone interested in enjoying the Hudson Valley.

My wife and I and two other couples - had the the greatest getaway from NYC. This house had all the amenities and a terrific location with tons of privacy, including a big pool and a river in the back! The house was immaculately clean and well stocked with a great kitchen for socializing. We plan to return throughout the year - who needs to own when you can rent a house like this!!

My family had the greatest time at this property - the pool was great, perfect kitchen for big family dinners and the setting was so private yet close to the village. The owners were lovely - they went out of their way to accommodate our special requests.
