The villa offers itself as a pampered home-away-from-home retreat with it's many in-house services and facilities, so much so that leaving the villa during your stay may become a challenge for some! Yet like many of the 5 star resorts close by, it is ideally located to enjoy the array of attractions that Phuket has to offer.
The villa's design creates an easy flow between indoor and outdoor living. Bright open living spaces with stylish, yet comfortable furnishings create an instant air of luxury and relaxation, making it the ideal place to unwind and enjoy lifes pleasures.
Living Space
The kitchen, indoor dining and living are open plan with large folding doors opening both sides of the room, creating a bright and breezy space. The living room is set beneath a spectacular vaulted ceiling which provides a visual splendour that also cools the environment.
A stunning water feature off the living and dining room, showcasing a beautiful carved buddha face creates an air of calm and serenity.
Outdoor Space
The private 10 meter pool includes an integral jacuzzi that sits adjacent to the beautiful sala. The sala, fitted out as one large day bed, provides respite from the heat of the day and is ideal to enjoy a soothing massage, as well as a fantastic venue for the whole group to come together. The outdoor bar is a great place to enjoy a cocktail as the sun goes down and with the 32'' LCD, you can even watch your favourite football team in action while enjoying the benefits of the tropical weather.
Bedrooms
Three beautiful bedrooms in the main villa, each with their own modern ensuite bathroom and their own individual style open onto the pool. The contemporary styled master suite is sumptuously fitted out in luscious purple and silver tones of stunning Thai silk.
The super king size bed gives ample space to spread out or accomodate small children with parents and a daybed can also be used as a single bed or a place a for a quiet read or afternoon nap. The suite features an attached luxurious walk-in wardrobe and a oversized bathroom. The bathroom features a large sunken bath ideal for a romantic rendezvous with a loved one or a fun adventure for children and even the whole family to enjoy. A large window to a secluded part of the garden gives the shower a back to nature feel.
A second junior suite styled in pastel colours and subtle Thai accents, features a king size bed, spacious wardrobes, good size bathroom with shower. An additional study attached can also accomodate a cot or single mattress to be used as a separate sleeping area for infants or children, giving parents the option of complete privacy.
A separate garden villa provides two more charming bedrooms and an adjoining TV room.

My family and I (total of 10 adults and 3 children) stayed in this villa over a few days and we totally enjoyed it! Not only was it clean and comfortable, it was well-equipped with books, toys and movies. Each room had its own TV, DVD player and an ipod radio dock, and the kitchen had all the appliances needed for your cooking needs. The living area had a great sound system so good for playing wii and watching movies together as a family. Sincere thanks to Ying, the manager, who would attend to your every need and would whip out any dish you want for your meals. She is a great chef and prices were really reasonable. It is difficult to find the perfect place for family holidays. You always have to sacrifice something for the sake of other benefits. Our family has three years of traveling, do not stop at hotels. Believe me, we have something to compare! Comfort accommodation in a villa Munay-ki, I would compare with the Banyan Tree resort, although the price is substantially low. Choosing Munay-ki, you will receive not only first class leisure, but also a personal manager who is ready to come to your assistance 24 hours a day. (Special thanks to Jene for the fact that patiently listened to our wishes.) Is difficult to say what we lacked in the villa. It fits as well as families with children, and those who seek solitude.We were on an island in low season, but despite this, the impressions of Thailand were just excellent! The pictures of the Villa simply do not do the property justice. We walked through the front doors and were blown away. Fantastic lay-out and facilities. 2 Families stayed for 11 nights and never any request was too much trouble. Taxi travel, tours, shopping etc. Ying and Oui are so very professional and so service orientated. Ying cooked some fantastic Thai meals for the 7 of us - and was more than happy for me to watch and learn from her (and she did the dishes too..aaahhh bliss). Bang Tao no more than 10 minutes walk. Great Restuarants - and so very much cheaper than in Patong. Being in a Gated Community was fantastic - the Guards even Salute you !!! Seriously we could not fault the property or the Staff. We had 11 days at Villa Munay-Ki, it was a wonderful holiday, Ying and oui were so good to us and made the holiday very special. The Villa itself is just beautiful, the kids had a ball in the pool and the adults enjoyed the outside bar! The food that Ying cooked was delicious and she organised everything for us regarding tours etc. I cant speak highly enough of the villa is was a great relaxing wonderful holiday.Did you find this review helpful? We stayed at the Villa in august 2012, 4 adults and 2 kids (2 and 8 years). The service was excellent with Ying, the villa manager, being very helpful organizing golf bookings, elephant trekking and alike. The villa is very luxurious with everything you might need and more. Although couple of minutes away from the beach you don't miss the beach as the villa is perfect to spend whole days by the pool. The service and help through the owners is exceptional as well with lots of great suggestions for beach clubs, dining and more. We were a group of eight, with two toddlers and two infants staying at the Villa Munay-ki in November 2011. The villa is spacious, well equipped and very tastefully decorated. Kelly, the owner and Khun Ying, the villa manager are incredibly helpful and the kids were made to feel very welcome. The villa is about a 15 minute walk to Bangtao beach. Simply stunning villa. Just gorgeous from every angle and better than the photos. Brilliant service. Great food. Close enough to beaches, shops etc, but not easy to walk. We stayed at Villa Munayki for 6 nights and 7 days and had a blast. I has my 3 kids with me and the villa really went out of their way to accommodate our requests for baby cots and high chairs. Ying the manager/cook was great. She really pampered us with her delicious Thai cooking and everyday we were more than satisfied every meal. Ping, the housekeeper was great too. The villa was exactly as described in the listing, and we had an amazing time with family and friends. The villa was remarkably clean, and served as a great homebase for doing day-trips to islands, or just relaxing in the villa, and having massages. The owner and manager were both available and very helpful throughout the process, and also flexible to our needs and requests. I would definitely recommend the villa to friends and family. In fact, I already recommended it to friends, and they also had an amazing time there earlier this year. I suggest renting cars, in order to drive to the different areas of Phuket.Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

Having just spent 3 days at the amazing Villa Munay-Ki, it seemed appropriate to offer a review of this magnificent property. When we first entered through the carved wooden villa door we were greeted by Ying the villa host you immediately made us feel very welcome. Ying's cooking, cleaning and warm hospitality were outstanding over the duration of our stay. She did a fabulous job of looking after us! The villa is luxuriously appointed with very spacious rooms, bathrooms and living area. The fantastic pool complete with jacuzzi is surrounded by comfortable sun loungers, a very large garden sala perfect for that afternoon nap, poolside bar with flatscreen TV and stereo surround sound. The villa grounds boast a mature garden, complete with manicured lawn. The villa is located a 10 -15 minute walk to Bang Tao beach (plenty of good cheap thai eateries right on the sand) and a short 10 minute walk to the village, which has a supermarket, a variety of restaurant options, wine shop, pharmacy, thai boutiques and thai massage. The 5 adults and 4 young children in our group loved everything Villa Munay-Ki had to offer. We came away feeling not only relaxed, but spoilt!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
