The big water of Lake Marion (Santee-Cooper) is at your doorstep... You will love sitting on your patio in the evening watching the calm waters rippling, the stars twinkling, and listening to the quiet... Or take a stroll along the piers and gazebo. The morning starts with fabulous sunrises and the activities begin with championship golf courses nearby or launch your boat for some great boating and fantastic fishing. 'Bassmasters' held a national tournament here in spring 2006 and a record catch of largemouth bass was recorded. The 450 miles of shoreline on Lake Marion offer endless water activities. Boat rentals are available nearby and a boat slip is also available at a nominal extra cost.
This is truly a sportsman's paradise. Wildlife abounds with eagles, osprey, geese, and a short hop to the state parks bring much more... Or if you want you can just kickback at the pool and let the world bustle somewhere else. If it Is shopping you want, you can visit the outlet mall in Santee or the antiques shops in nearby Elloree (6 miles). And historic sightseeing is only about 60 minutes to downtown in Charleston, Fort Sumter & SS Yorktown.
This condominium comes equipped with all of the luxuries of home and 1500 square feet of elbow room. Cook if you like, but the area offers a great variety of excellent restaurants. Dress code is definitely casual, coats and ties are frowned upon and socks are optional.
