Your mountain retreat awaits you. With a filtered lake view and surrounded by beautiful mountain views, this is a great place for a family retreat and plenty of room for additional friends/family to come along too.

The house is a spacious 3 BDRM, 3BA home. There is a king sized bed in the master BDRM upstairs. One BRM has a queen sized bed and the third has 2 double sized beds. In addition, there is a day bed in the upstairs loft that converts into 2 twins beds and a queen sized sofa sleeper in the living room.

This house has it all: Large screen TV in the living room with surround sound system, high speed WI-FI internet service, a private hot tub on the deck, sauna in the downstairs area, fully stocked kitchen with dual ovens and all the cookware and utensils you'll need. Tons of storage for skis and other gear, a 2 car garage and a huge deck with a charcoal and a gas BBQ.

In addition, the house is close to a mecca of outdoor activities. The home is within walking distance to Paige Meadows wilderness area. Cross country ski, hike or mountain bike out the back door. You’ll be nine miles to Squaw, seven miles to Alpine, four miles to Homewood. Summer guests will enjoy easy access to Lake Tahoe beaches, Sunnyside Resort, as well as a sunny deck and barbecue area at the house.

The home is located in a developed sub-division called the Talmont area. After turning off Highway. 89, the climb into this area is a 12% grade. Winter or summer the view of Lake Tahoe from the overlook at the top of this hill is fantastic. Please feel free to call with questions about this property.

Why the Owner Chose Tahoe City

I absolutely love Lake Tahoe. I've spent a good amount of time there over the past 20 years and enjoy all the seasons. As I started spending more time, I thought owning up there would be a great opportunity for us. It allows us the flexibility to go up there spur of the moment. There is so much to do and the landscape is so amazing, that you could never grow tired of such a great location.

The Unique Benefits at this Vacation Home

I love spending time on the large deck. In the mornings, I'll enjoy a coffee out there and look down on the lake. In the afternoons it's fun to bbq and eat outside. And of couse, it's great to watch the sunset from the hot tub! We are located close to a lot of different things: Paige Meadows, Sunnyside, the lake and Tahoe City. The West Shore is the Best Shore.

Hiking and bike trails in the summer. Cross country skiing in the winter.

Great restaurant right on the lake. Marina will rent boats, kayaks, jet skis, etc. Ski lessons available.

Great spot for breakfast. Coffee annex open in summer.

Great cafe/coffee house with nice atmosphere. Good food. Also has a market for takeaway prepared dinner/lunch for heating at home.
