Located in the quiet community of Irish Beach on the Mendocino Coast. This home is situated in the meadow area and comes with distant ocean view. Lounge on the front area private deck to soak up the sun or relax in the hammock on the backyard deck with a good book. A large private hot tub is a haven from the hectic city life. Plenty of deer and other wildlife roam around the area.
This home is completely remodeled and beautifully furnished. The walls have been textured and painted a very lovely yellow color wash. Beautiful paintings and photography (created by owner) decorating the walls.
Very efficient Lopi wood burning stove in living room and wood burning fireplace insert in master suite. We took great care in decorating this beautiful home to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
Card key access to the expansive and private Irish Beach. Driftwood galore, tide pools, access to private parking lot to beach.
Come relax at Honey's Getaway and sip a glass of wine purchased from one of the many wineries in the Alexander Valley.

Why the Owner Chose Irish Beach
We have always loved the coast. Every chance we got, we'd go to Mendocino, Gualala or head south to Carmel. We were purchasing fixer uppers at the time and had just sold another property after fixing it up. Looking into purchasing another property when Lisa found this property online. We drove our 5th wheel to Point Arena for the weekend to take a look at this property. We saw the possibilities immediately and put in an offer. Decided the only way we could afford to keep it was to rent it out as a vacation rental. And here we are...
The Unique Benefits at this
We love our house in Irish Beach very much. We wanted to make a special retreat for ourselves and our renters. A lot of love was put into decorating this home to make it feel comfortable and relaxing for our guests. A personal touch is added with the use of paintings done by Lisa and small photographs of our grandchildren. Our hope is that everyone that stays at Honey's Getaway, will feel as though they are home. By the way, Lisa's two grandchildren call her 'Honey' and hence the name, Honey's Getaway.

We are self employed. Both of us are artists as well. My husband, Michael, carves and can pretty much make anything. I paint landscapes and portraits in oil.
