Great Value for a Wonderful Beach Vacation

Had a nice vacation in this little condo. Pros--good size, comfortable, near the beach, quiet, nice landscaping, great view of lagoon with ducks & pool. Cons--air conditioning went out twice in one week (but management was GREAT about getting it fixed quickly), cannot really see the beach from condo (lagoon was a great view, though, and made up for this). Condo could use a few touch-ups, but we prefer "comfy" to "perfect" so this wasn't a big issue. No lifeguards at this section of beach, so take a buddy. Our family is used to Myrtle Beach. Pensacola Beach is a lot less commercial and quiet (at least at this time of year) which was a nice change. The sand is beautiful! Fun stuff to do--funky local gift shop near the Subway restaurant on the main strip, Naval Aviation museum at NAS Pensacola was interesting and free, Fort Pickens is nearby and a neat day trip if you like history. We did putt-putt one day and shopped at the local "boardwalk." There are several waverunner rentals available, along with parasailing and other water sports which we did not participate in, not being the sporty types. It was easily to get around the area and the traffic was only heavy at the main intersection. The ladies at the welcome center were extremely enthusiastic and helpful, so be sure to stop there for info. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend and would like to stay here again if we travel to the area. Thanks for helping our family have a great time in Pensacola!
Owner response:Thank you very much for your review and glad you found the condo to be a good value. I'm so sorry about the air conditioning problem you experienced, but glad to hear that the management company was quick to respond. The complete AC system was replaced this week, so that should keep the problem you experienced from reoccurring. Thank you again for the kind comments in your review and I'm so glad you had a fun and enjoyable stay on Pensacola Beach. Please come back again soon for another visit, and I'd welcome the opportunity to have you stay at my condo again.

4 of us adult gals booked our getaway here. We got what we expected for our expense. Nothing elaborate, but all was clean and fairly maintained. The property rental co. (JME) was INCREDIBLY helpful and friendly. They took note of things we mentioned and promised it would be fixed immediately. The surroundings were gorgeous and the walk to the beach was pretty and minimal. The walk over the lagoon was enjoyable as there were ducks all about. I would stay here every visit if it's available. We plan on staying here annually for a week at the minimum. Bring extra beach towels, TP and dish soap for a stay longer than a few days. Appliances work really well. Beds are a bit soft. Shower has intense power. No elevator. Prepare to carry stuff up 2 flights of stairs (or a single steeper flight at the back balcony door).
Owner response:Thank you for your review. I'm very glad you enjoyed your stay and found the condo to be a good value for the $$. I have shared your review with my property manager at JME vacations. We look forward to having you come back real soon and would welcome the opportunity to have you as a guest again. Thanks again for your kind words and sharing your rental experience.

I thought I had picked a nice property for the price but wished I had stayed at a hotel instead since I didn't feel confident in the items in the cabinets that contained rusty knives, etc... The beds were lumpy...mb never turned...the blinds broken, torn places on the doors, tiles not maintained well in the bathrooms, stains on the furniture, rusty porch chair and beach chair...etc... It was however cleaned pretty good and in a great location I might recommend this for young spring breakers.
Owner response:Thank you for your review and constructive feedback. Despite having numerous prior renters, this is the first time anyone has raised concerns with any of the items posted in the review. I have forwarded the concerns noted to my property manager and have asked that she look into immediately and take any necessary corrective action to quickly resolve. Thank you for the kind words about the cleanliness and location of the condo. My goal is to provide my guests with a clean, affordable place to stay and enjoy beautiful Pensacola Beach with their families. Again, thank you for the constructive feedback and rest assured that any items needing corrective action will be quickly attended to. Thank you.

We stayed Labor Day weekend and I must say it was very nice. The deco was great. Very close to Gulf. Lagoon with swans and ducks was fun to watch. Would definitely stay again! Thanks!
