This fully remodeled cabin is in a perfect location for easy access to all of South Lake Tahoe's attractions. It is located only four blocks from the lake and less than a mile from the casinos, shopping, and gondolas. An open floor plan and plenty of space allows for a comfortable and cozy stay. Amenities include wireless internet service, a gourmet kitchen, vaulted ceilings, knotty cedar and alder accents, a warm fireplace, and spacious loft.
Perfectly suited for families or two couples with a master bedroom upstairs and another downstairs. The loft sleeps three and has lots of room for games, cable TV, and movies. Two full bathrooms--one upstairs and one downstairs. Roomy kitchen with all the amenities: granite counters, professional range, fully equipped. Even an espresso machine.
The woodsy backyard is fully fenced and has a deck, patio table large enough to seat six people, and a gas barbeque. The front deck is covered.

Why the Owner Chose Bijou 1
We love South Lake Tahoe because of the beautiful scenery and refreshing climate. The summer is mild. In the Spring and Fall the smell of the pine trees on our property is so refreshing! And, of course, the winters are a wonderland of white!
We chose to purchase and renovate Chez Avignon partly because of it's great location, partly because of it's unusually large backyard, partially because of the great floor plan, and partially because of that classic "Tahoe" feeling the inside of the home had the capability of capturing.
We love our little Tahoe getaway, and hope you do too.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
This home is more spacious than most cabins in the area. The downstairs bedroom is located down the hall and has a full bathroom. The upstairs bedroom is remote and private and has a full bathroom. This makes the home perfect for two couples to share. The loft has two twin beds, a mini pool table, tv, games, etc. The wall separating the loft from the main living area gives privacy and yet leaves the area feeling open. This is a perfect place for the kids to hang out.
The backyard is also unusually large for the area and fully fenced. The large back deck expands the living space even more. It is equipped with a large patio table and chairs.

Thank you for opening your lovely cabin to us on short notice this weekend. What a great location, and everything was so warm and cozy. Enjoyed the fireplace and lovely back deck. We come up from the Bay Area to enjoy a quiet few days without the hustle and bustle of our mommy lives. We have a combined total of 12 kids under age 6!
