Stayed in this condo July 2011. The layout was very nice and the condo is has plenty of room. We also love staying at Watercrest. Have stayed numerous times in different condos there. I read the previous review and talked with the contact for condo and I was assured that all items mentioned in that review had been addressed. Although, after arriving most had not been addressed. There are many things that need attention in this condo. The hardwood in hallway near washer/dryer is peeling up, the stopper in master tub is broken, some wall plugs do not work, drapery over balcony door is riped, many...many of the light fixtures didn't have light bulbs, and numerous other small repairs needed. Also for a condo that sleeps 4 to 6 people there was 1 case knife in kitchen and 4 spoons along with a bowl that had cigarette burn in the bottom of it and the broom had been broken and was only about 2 foot of stick on it to sweep with. All these items were irritaiting but I could deal with but then saw black mold on the ceiling air vent in kitchen and laundry and on the shower curtain in master bath which was about a 1 wide on bottom. That is not very sanitary and not safe to breath. I contacted renter and I was assured someone would be right out. After a day & half no one came I went and bought cleaning products and cleaned the mold as this was not healthy for me or my family. I called renter back and informed them I had addressed the mold and then about 6 hours later someone dropped by while we were gone and bought some silverware and a broom. I would definitely recommend anyone renting to consider different condo use you are assured items have been addressed. (Even though I was assured prior to arriving and it was not addressed maybe it will be for anyone else.)

After staying at this condo in June 2010 I can't say I would choose it again. We have visited Watercrest for the last 4-5 years and love it. This condo is nice, but could be much better. I was disappointed with the couch especially. It is broken down and needs to be replaced. The sleeper that my 8 yr old slept on was horrible. I could not have slept on it myself and I don't see how he did. The mattress rolled you to the middle and you felt all the bars. Most of the springs that held the mattress up were missing. I feel sure it will break at anytime. The TVs in the unit need to be replaced. There is a 32" tube TV in the main room. The master has a 19" tube with DVD combo, complete with non working remote. The other bedroom has a 13" TV / VCR combo. Again with a non working remote. Also the kitchen lacks many of the items that most condos have (ie: we had 4 glasses) We had to fix the curtains to the sliders leading to the balcony twice. They were falling down and had been ripped several times. Lights in the washing machine closet not working properly. Could hardly see it all. The things that are wrong are small (except for the sofa), but there are many. Consider choosing another unit unless you are assured these things are fixed.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children.
