My husband and I took our three boys for their first mountain vacation, and we couldn't have picked a better spot! The cabin was beautiful and it was stocked with everything we could possibly need. And while there were things to do near by (apple orchards, state park) we barely left the property because my boys were so enthralled with the creek. They spent hours throwing rocks and floating leaves and loved every minute of it!!! They loved the cozy loft area (and the satellite TV was great when it was time to take a break and warm cold fingers and toes!) And I was beyond grateful for the washer and dryer- I'm not sure what we would have done with the wet, muddy clothes without it!! It was a wonderful weekend getaway. In fact, my seven year old said it was "the best vacation ever!" And my three year old twins didn't want to leave. One said, "I don't want to go back to our house, I like this house!" And as soon as the other one woke up this morning he said, "I want to go to the mountains!" We truly could not have asked for more.

I have rented stream side cabins in the north Georgia mountains for several years now and have to say that my experience at this one was the best. The cabin was extremely clean, comfortable and the view and sound of Bailey's Creek while reading, grilling, dining, and just relaxing was perfect. In addition, as a fly fisherman, the location being so near the Noontootla Creek was a major plus. It is also very private without having to travel down a long gravel road. Excellent experience! I will return.

This cabin was only 2 hours from my house, but I felt like it was a million miles away - in a good way! Loved the cabin! It had everything I needed and then some. Loved, loved, loved the creek! My dogs and I spent a lot of time in the water and on the rocks. We climbed to the top of the mountain behind the cabin and I even saw signs of a bear at the top - Yikes! We went on hikes and saw two beautiful waterfalls. Elijay and Blue Ridge were great as were the apple barns leading to Elijay. I've traveled all over the United States and I've been to Europe many times - this was by far, one of my favorite vacations!

This cabin was so much more than we had hoped for. The pictures don't come close to doing it justice. My husband and I, and also our two fur faces, Lilah, a german shepherd and Greta, a chihuahua felt at home from the moment we arrived. This property is perfect for pets. I thought Lilah's paws would prune for all the time she spent in the creek chasing her tennis ball and football. The cabin has such great decorations, from the beautiful ceiling fans to the cute knobs on the cupboards. The, what I called the slide, waterfall is easily walked up if you like to dip your feet in a mountain stream this can't be beat. I can't say enough good things about this place. Another review mentioned snakes, didn't see a one. Perfect getaway from the world, couldn't be more relaxing.

The cabin was absolutely wonderful, the creek was so relaxing. It was a very calm place to just cast away your worries. Blue Ridge is a awesome town and tubing at Toccoa Valley Campground is the best. Very friendly area and folks. The caretaker was very helpful with directions. Saw snakes and deer (: Mr. Wagner is very nice and so helpful with information, you wont find a better deal for the price anywhere in the area. You will be happy you stayed here. Thank you Mr.Wagner, we do hope to come back one day for a long week-end.

This cabin in the woods is a fantastic retreat - we've been twice now, and would happily return again. The sound of the stream is soothing, and the cabin is clean and well-appointed. Great for a family or couple.

The cabin is absolutely wonderful! Comfortable beds, great area. The creek entertained my 12 year old for hours, we had to call him back in long after dark...saw a lot of deer, fox and squirrels, watch out for snakes! Lots to do in the area, recommend Rolling Thunder River Company for whitewater rafting in McCaysville. Vincent was the best guide! Thanks Wagner Family for sharing!

My family and I stayed here the week of August 9-13 and we loved every minute. We also appreciated that we could bring our dog. The cabin is even nicer in person that it shows in the pictures. It literally is right on the creek, which we loved splashing around in and hiking up to see where it went. We were very close to several waterfalls and hiking trails, which we really enjoyed. The morning temperature was consistantly 60 degrees, with the highs (at the cabin) getting to about the mid 80s (it was warmer in Blue Ridge). The countryside is beautiful and we felt like we were really "away from it all". Both the owner and the caretaker were very helpful and considerate. We can't wait to return. We would highly recommend this cabin, and we have stayed in many rental places - both cabins and beach condos. This is one of the nicest we've rented. This cabin is the place for a family that wants to relax and enjoy nature. If you are looking for a place that is in close proximity (within 30 minutes or less) to shopping and touristy atrractions, this may not be the place for you. BUT! If you want quiet, outdoor adventure (hiking, biking, fishing, tubing) you should take advantage of this lovely cabin. You will not be sorry!!

My husband and I were looking for a getaway near Atlanta and came across this rental on vrbo website. The cabin was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. You can hear the rushing waters of the creek from any room in the cabin. Mr. Don, the caretaker, was awesome in providing us with directions to local attractions and other helpful info. Thanks to the owners for sharing this cabin for others to enjoy!

The cabin was very enjoyable and was just as pictured. I think even better. My husband and I brought our two labs(Petals and Marble) with us. They LOVED the creek..walking and swimming in it. This was the first time we rented a cabin that allowed dogs...we will certainly look to coming back again. Thanks for a great and relaxing weekend.

Our stay in the cabin was so restful. There were snow flurries and it was cold. However it gave us a good excuse to snuggle up to the fireplace and watch the creek from the window. We look forward to our next stay! Nancy in Atlanta

My wife & I stayed at this very nice cabin/home from May 25-June 4, 2009. Extremely neat, great amenities, very comfortable place to relax. We spent a lot of time reading on the back porch, watching the birds and listening to the creek. It is, also, a central location from which to explore nature and the small towns of North Georgia. Five Star rating from us!!

We vacationed at this cabin the end of March 2009 and I find myself thinking about the beautiful water views from most of the windows. The sound of the water still comes to mind and brings back serenity. The little fire pit was an added plus for the smores and the kids loved playing in the water and climbing on the rocks! It was a GREAT place to relax and get away from everything. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

We have stayed in this cabin several times. It is absolutely wonderful. Great privacy, the sound of the creek is the most relaxing thing imaginable. The caretaker, when in residence, was unobtrusive. We give it five stars.

The cabin was perfect. It was just the two of us, plus pup, but the upstairs loft bedroom/playroom would be great if you had kids with you. Great proximity to trails. Close to Blue Ridge and Ellijay but far enough that you feel like you've really gotten away from it all. I enjoyed having my morning coffee next to the creek each day.

This was our first time renting a cabin, and when we got there it was definitely more than we expected. It was absolutely breathtaking, and we couldn't have made a better choice!
