Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2009
My wife and I have lived 7 miles from this property since 1977. I am a clinical social worker in private practice as a psychotherapist. My wife owns and operates a dance studio for children. We have two grown sons, and a puppy, "Daisy," who was born 2-12-09! (Maybe we should have named her, "Abbey."
Why the Owner Chose New Seabury
New Seabury is a planned community. It NEVER goes out of style. Maushop Village offered us the opportunity to have a small rental to host visitors in the summer, and for us to use off season. Did you know that Maushop was a Wampanoag Indian? The story goes that he was a giant who created Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard and the Elizabeth Islands!
The Unique Benefits of this Townhouse Villa
This particular property is at the end of a dead end street. There's no passing traffic, and terrific privacy, particularly on the expansive back yard. It's a 2-3 minute walk to our private beach...which can only be used by owners of Maushop properties or their guests. A 15 minute walk to the wonderful Popponesset Market Place offers visitors access to mini-golf, shops and dining both casual and sophisticated. Come to the Cape and Relax!
