The living room features all new (2012) tropical furniture including a queen-sized sleeper sofa, plus ceiling fan, large flat screen TV and DVD player. There is a fully-equipped kitchen, including dishwasher and built-in microwave, a dining area, and cool, quiet central air conditioning. The bath has a combination tub/shower with safety grab bars. The spacious living areas and a large screened lanai face southwest and look out to the pool and to the sparkling Gulf of Mexico beyond. The first floor location offers instant access to the pool and beach, and no stairs to climb! For your comfort and convenience, the unit is non-smoking and daily maid service is provided. Pets are not allowed.
You can walk for miles along the shore, swim in the beautiful beachside heated pool, and relax at the private beach with complimentary chaise lounges and umbrellas. Watch for dolphins, observe sea turtles and shore birds, and end each day watching the golden evening sun slip over the horizon. My friend and I loved Silver Sands, and couldn't have been more pleased with the accommodations. The condo was beautiful, immaculate, close to the beach, everything the website promised! I have recommended Silver Sands to my friends, and will definitely be back! Thank you for making our vacation absolutely perfect! Please tell Lana at the front desk that we so enjoyed visiting with her, and she and the rest of the staff are doing an excellent job.

My 8 year daughter and I stayed here over her spring break in April and had a wonderful time. The condo was clean and very well maintained with just steps to the swimming pool and beach. There are many wonderful restaurants and shops within walking distance. I would not hestitate to recommend this to any of our friends and will certainly be back to rent it again.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+, tourists without a car.

My husband and I just got back today from staying 4 nights at Silver Sands. Between the size of the kitchen and the grills outside, we never left the resort to go out to eat...cooked all of our meals there. Everything you need is there...comforts of home away from home. They provide beach towels, coolers, clothes stand to dry things on and all of the barbecue utensils for the grill. Chairs and umbrellas are also available. The screened in patio is huge with a table a 4 chairs. Pool was perfectly heated. The beach is quiet and peaceful. Extremely clean and comfortable...We will definitely stay again. Highly recommended!

Thank you for sharing your condo with my husband and I. The beach is beautiful! The grounds are lovely! The staff was very accomodating and the rest was exactly what we needed. The bed was excellent and the condo is just the perfect size. So close to the beach we could hear the waves crashing. Very family oriented and everyone was pleasent. It was nice to have the chaise lounges that were furnished on the beach. The sunsets are magnificent and we loved that the beach was so private. We will definitely come back.

My husband and I enjoyed two nights in this clean, bright and comfortable 1bdrm 1 bath unit with lanai overlooking the pool. It was just steps out to the ocean and where just a few people were scattered about. The third night my twin girls (7), came to stay with us and stayed on on the queen sofa bed. They loved the heated pool and small putt-putt course. We used the propane bbqs on site as well as the table overlooking the beach for a family dinner. We had a wonderful time. The resort was just right for us all.

Thank you for a lovely stay over Labor Day weekend! I decided to go for a quick, last-minute trip and was so pleased with the complex, the location, the staff....everything. I've been to Longboat Key twice before with girlfriends and can't wait to bring my kids to this wonderful place. The condo was perfect for my needs and could not have been in a better location to experience the gulf and the island. Will be back!
