We had a terrific week at unit 246! The photos and description of the condo were very accurate. The condo was very clean, well equipped, and the staff was great. We enjoyed walking the beach each day. The town park nearby was very nice - we walked there one afternoon and wandered through the mangrove forest along the paths and walkways. Harry's Corner Store and deli were very convenient and the prepared dinners from there were delicious. We definitely want to return!

This is our second visit to Silver Sands 246. It was immaculate, tastefully furnished, and roomy enough for the two of us. The staff couldn't be nicer or more attentive. Bed is extremely comfortable. All the appliances and furnishings are like new. Silver Sands is well located to Harry's Restaurant, bike rental shop, and movies in Sarasota (12 miles) and Bradenton (6 miles). Beach and pool are right out the lanai door!

My husband and I just got back today from staying 4 nights at Silver Sands. Between the size of the kitchen and the grills outside, we never left the resort to go out to eat...cooked all of our meals there. Everything you need is there...comforts of home away from home. They provide beach towels, coolers, clothes stand to dry things on and all of the barbecue utensils for the grill. Chairs and umbrellas are also available. The screened in patio is huge with a table a 4 chairs. Pool was perfectly heated. The beach is quiet and peaceful. Extremely clean and comfortable...We will definitely stay again. Highly recommended!

Thank you for sharing your condo with my husband and I. The beach is beautiful! The grounds are lovely! The staff was very accomodating and the rest was exactly what we needed. The bed was excellent and the condo is just the perfect size. So close to the beach we could hear the waves crashing. Very family oriented and everyone was pleasent. It was nice to have the chaise lounges that were furnished on the beach. The sunsets are magnificent and we loved that the beach was so private. We will definitely come back.

My husband and I enjoyed two nights in this clean, bright and comfortable 1bdrm 1 bath unit with lanai overlooking the pool. It was just steps out to the ocean and where just a few people were scattered about. The third night my twin girls (7), came to stay with us and stayed on on the queen sofa bed. They loved the heated pool and small putt-putt course. We used the propane bbqs on site as well as the table overlooking the beach for a family dinner. We had a wonderful time. The resort was just right for us all.

My 8 year daughter and I stayed here over her spring break in April and had a wonderful time. The condo was clean and very well maintained with just steps to the swimming pool and beach. There are many wonderful restaurants and shops within walking distance. I would not hestitate to recommend this to any of our friends and will certainly be back to rent it again.

Thank you for a lovely stay over Labor Day weekend! I decided to go for a quick, last-minute trip and was so pleased with the complex, the location, the staff....everything. I've been to Longboat Key twice before with girlfriends and can't wait to bring my kids to this wonderful place. Wanted to let you know that we really enjoyed our time at Silver Sands. It's a beautiful spot and your unit was comfortable, well-equipped and clean. I loved being able to walk out to the beach in the morning to enjoy my coffee. Laura in the office and the cleaning crew were all friendly and efficient. We did some sightseeing, ate some good meals, and did a lot of relaxing! Silver Sands itself was great too, clean and comfortable with a lot of thought given to your guests needs. We really appreciated those small touches--a drying rack for wet suits and towels, a bucket for sandy feet and a blender for slushy drinks on a hot beach day, to name just a few. The office staff was more than helpful (I have to mention Laura, for her assistance in reuniting me with my phone charger) and the system for after hours arrival, which we needed to use, went without a hitch. There was plenty to keep both teens and parents happy and we will definitely stay at 246 again the next time we are taking a beach vacation.

My wife and daughter and I had a great time on our short vacation in Longboat Key. The condo was perfect as it was so close to the beach which allowed us to maximize our time on the sand and in the water. The condo was exactly as it was described and photographed. We LOVED our stay at your Silver Sands unit! The condo, pool and beach were all very nice. We enjoyed cooking on the grill by the pool--it seemed to be a popular dinner choice for many. It was nice to step out of the porch and be right at the pool and then just a short walk to the beach. The view was beautiful right from the condo! We appreciated the "extras" such as coffee and soap supplies, clean towels, free wireless and the comforts of home. The unit was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. I liked that the bathroom had a fan--so many don't anymore. I also liked the glass doors for the shower/tub. We did enjoy the area of Longboat Key also, but our favorite time was spent just hanging at the condo and enjoying all that it had to offer. It was perfect for our family of three with our 18 year old daughter. There seemed to be many families/extended families at Silver Sands during our stay and everyone was very friendly. It was fun to see multiple generations all enjoying themselves and their time together. We arrived early due to a change in our flight schedule and were able to check-in with no problem. Laura at the front desk was friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations. The check-out time of 11 am was great--we were able to get all of our laundry finished that morning and did not feel rushed. We would love to go back again and would highly recommend that others stay there. Thank you for everything!

I had a wonderful time at Silver Sands. It was a perfect spot for being on my own. Your unit was very comfortable. With the wonderful deli nearby, I did not have the need to go to a grocery store or rent a car. I rented a bike and was quite comfortable getting around. The staff was very helpful. We enjoyed our week at Silver Sands immensely. It is now on my "favorites" list. There are many little touches that make it an easy place to vacation and we really loved the proximity to the beach and restaurants. We will be thinking of Florida as it gets colder and colder here. This unit is everything we've dreamed about for a relaxing and private beach vacation. The pictures in this listing are exactly how the condo looks like. A white sand beach is only steps away from the room as well as the pool. The condo is very well kept and clean!!! The recent upgrades made the unit very comfortable and enjoyable! There was nothing we did not like about this place! It was a PERECT vacation for us! The owner and resort staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They were responsive, easy to work with and very accommodating. We plan to return each year. If you are looking for a relaxing and laid back vacation, Longboat Key is the place to go and SilverSand #246 is the place to stay!

We enjoyed a perfect week in Longboat. We enjoyed the peace and quiet as well as good food and enjoyable walks on the beach. The condo is furnished with everything you need and yet uncluttered. The maid service is very nice and everyone is friendly. The pool is very nice as well.

Sparkling Clean!!!! Well maintained!!!! Very comfortable!!! The pool and beach are steps outside the lanai. The beach is clean and not crowded at all. I have stayed at hotels that were not as nice as this and paid twice as much. We stayed with our two small kids and it was plenty of room. Thanks again!

My husband and I rented this unit for 5 nights and had a wonderful time. It was just as described by the poster and other reviewers. Very low-key, clean, private and restful. With this unit, you are steps away from the pool and a pristine beach with gorgeous white sand. Linens and kitchen amenities were ample, and access to coin laundry facilities made it possible to travel back home with clean clothes. We will definitely be returning again - next time with the fam!

Silver Sands on Longboat Key wsa the perfect place to reunite with family members. The setting is stunning and relaxing and the units were just what we needed. The location is ideal. Near enough to shops and restaurants, etc., but far enough to feel you're "at the beach." Unit 246 is nice, clean, pretty and functional. We really look foward to coming back, hopefully next year.
