We're rented Twin Pines for the last three summers for our family vacation. Long lake is a special place for my family, and the accommodations at Twin Pines are the best. We will be returning in 2010.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This place is great! Highly recommend if you're looking for something in the local area this should be your first choice. We stayed over the Christmas holiday and everything we needed as far as essentials was provided, they even had Christmas lights up for us! We're hoping to get up in the summer sometime so I can get some fishing in (its about a 20 second walk to the shore of Long Lake)!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We rented Twin Pines during the 2006 Fourth of July weekend. The house is absolutely beautiful--very spacious with lots of amenities so we didn't have to bring much from home. This is such a convenience! The yard is big and well maintained too so the kids had fun playing while we sat on the very expansive deck and enjoying the views all around the property and lake. Long Lake is breathtaking. We took the pontoon and drove the whole 17 miles--each day! The water is clear and we swam every day. Sweets Restaurant (next door) has great food too--and awesome ice cream! We have enjoyed your home so much we are coming back for 2006 Labor Day holiday. A special thanks to your parents, Jim and Diane, and to your sister, Stacy. They were so helpful with showing us around (after we arrived so late at night), things to do during our stay, and maneuvering the pontoon boat. A very big thank you, Tim, for all of your help to make this vacation such a memorable time for our family. (I still have to email some of the pictures to you and your family). You and your family are very gracious hosts and make us feel like it's our home away from home. THANK YOU!!! Please tell your family that we are looking forward to seeing them too! Thank you!
