  The house had plenty of room for a group that included two married couples, two singles, and twin 2 year olds. The two levels were nice for putting the kids to bed upstairs and still being able to play the TV and carry on downstairs. You basically step out the back door and onto the beach(about 50 feet of board walk). Very uninhabited in this area if you're looking for privacy. But also only about 2 miles west of 59 so a short drive to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach for lots of eats and entertainment. And a nice swimming pool for the kids who are a little shy of the ocean. The house was clean...Shelli was great to deal with...on time with everything, very responsive, and just in general very accommodating. Would definitely like to stay here again.

  We stayed three nights at this condo on the beach. It was well-stocked with many items we found very helpful to use while there. There were lots of signs of wear and tear, and the door locks and doors were hard to open, especially for the children. Would recommend some little repairs that would make it nicer. Beautiful choices in room decor. Wished the pool was heated during this early part of the season.

  My family and I just spent a week (May 21-28, 2011) in this lovely beach duplex. We found it all that we hoped it to be: clean, comfortable, spacious, well furnished, convenient, with lots of attention to details like night lights in halls and baths. The pool is lovely and the beach access cannot be better. The location is superb - large condos are some distance away so most nearby neighbors are in single, duplex, and four-plex dwellings. My family and I enjoyed the beach, the pool, the deck, and the entire area. Gulf Shores is a great place for a vacation and this duplex is a wonderful place to call home while visiting the area. The owners provided good info about things to do, restaurants,etc. in a basket in the living room plus there were guide books and other reading materials about the area. Every restaurant we tried was good and we enjoyed the shoppinng at the outlet mall in Foley. Be sure to take a dolphin cruise!

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  Enjoyed the view very much. The kitchen in the unit was well equiped and enjoyed the selection of games on the cool evelings. The unit was on of the cleanes we have rented from VRBO. We enjoyed the week. Avon, Indianna

  Dear Shelli, Thanks so much for allowing us this wonderful opportunity to spend our vacation time in our lovely home! It is absolutely gorgeous! I love the colors, furnishings add the instant warmth of a well loved and lived in place once you walk in the door - We really appreciate the fact that your place is dog friendly - if we could not have brought our border collie Boo we would not have had as great a trip - your generosity goes unmatched! We have put a lot of time, energy and money into the house to make it aesthetically pleasing as well as comfortable. We have tried to make it a home away from home for our customers. It truly is a home away from home for us. We want you to be comfortable and enjoy the house as well as the beach. So please keep in mind that we are “hands on” owners and try to do as much of the upkeep and repairs ourselves, so please treat it with the same love and respect as we do. There are a few simple rules that we all have to follow. - Check in is at 4:00 pm Check out is 10:00 am - Please wash the sand off your body before entering the pool. There is a shower on the east side of the duplex that is available for tenants on both sides to use. - All trash must be put in the cans by the front door, bags cannot be put out on the street or we will be fined by the city. Cans will be put out by someone on Monday and Thursday and Saturday. - At the time of check out all garbage in house must be put in cans and all dishes must be loaded and washed in the dishwasher. - The ashes in the grill must be disposed of and the grill cover replaced - Do not take bath towels down to pool or beach - Do not wash bath or bed linens, you will be responsible for replacement value of any towels damaged, discolored or ruined from improper washing. - If fresh bed linens are needed, there are extras in the top of each closet. - Please do not wipe off any facial chemicals or makeup on the colored bath towels., we have provided white wash clothes for make up removal. You will be responsible for the replacement value of any colored towels stained from make up. - The doors can be opened from the inside even when they are locked so be mindful of this so as not to lock yourself out.
