We stayed three nights at this condo on the beach. It was well-stocked with many items we found very helpful to use while there. There were lots of signs of wear and tear, and the door locks and doors were hard to open, especially for the children. Would recommend some little repairs that would make it nicer. Beautiful choices in room decor. Wished the pool was heated during this early part of the season.

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

My family and I just spent a week (May 21-28, 2011) in this lovely beach duplex. We found it all that we hoped it to be: clean, comfortable, spacious, well furnished, convenient, with lots of attention to details like night lights in halls and baths. The pool is lovely and the beach access cannot be better. The location is superb - large condos are some distance away so most nearby neighbors are in single, duplex, and four-plex dwellings. My family and I enjoyed the beach, the pool, the deck, and the entire area. Gulf Shores is a great place for a vacation and this duplex is a wonderful place to call home while visiting the area. The owners provided good info about things to do, restaurants,etc. in a basket in the living room plus there were guide books and other reading materials about the area. Every restaurant we tried was good and we enjoyed the shoppinng at the outlet mall in Foley. Be sure to take a dolphin cruise!

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We all enjoyed your beach home. It was great having the pool & beach so close and everything so convenient. The home fit our family well. We really appreciated the King size beds. We had four of our grandchildren with us. The oldest was 4 yrs old, 19 mos & twins age 16mos. We would like to stay here again sometime! The Bursons were very pleased with our stay at Dolphinview B last October. The house is conveniently located, on the beach, well equipped, nicely furnished(and from the current pictures in VRBO we see the even nicer new furnishings that started to be put in place while we were last there). The house has everything in it that one might need or want. The pool was very nice and well maintaned. One little problem, while there, a nasty storm out of the south pushed some rain in under the sliding glass door,but this was easily overcome with a couple of towels. We highly recommend the Dolphinview to anyone that enjoys the beach, and we, ourselves, have made reservations to return again this October. Thanks for everything, Shelli !!!!! We stayed over Spring Break (Sorry for late signing of the guest book!) 2 families of 4 totaling 8 staying at the condo. We absolutely loved it! Clean, plenty of room and a kitchen full of gadgets that made cooking in very easy. The children loved having the beach and a pool. I can't wait to return!

We were extremely disappointed for the money we paid. The internet service and tv in the guest bedroom did not work. The dryer did not work, so washing and drying clothes before leaving was out of the question, the second bathroom leaked into the kitchen ceiling and could not be used the entire week we were there. Luckily, we did not invite guests to vacation with us or we really would have been in trouble.

Owner response:Well I am so sorry this person was not happy. I am confident that the rate for my place is competetive with other houses the same size with a pool on the beach, not including condo buildings. I am here at the house now the internet is working, the tv works and the dryer works-I do need a new one though but had the guest called me and told me the problem I would have had an answer. Yes there is a leak but not so bad that the bathroom could not be used, she was never told not to use it she was made aware of the leak. I do know that my house is cleaner, and more welcoming than the hundreds of houses run by management companies. I am enjoying me week it truely is my home away from home!!

This was the first time we had a pool and we will never go without again! The house was lovely and had some nice upgrades - the towels were fluffy and the beds were very comfortable. The TV's were all working (which we didn't have at the last place we rented) and there was sat. I would definitely recommend!

I can tell you the house was beautiful. I can tell you it had everything we needed and more. But what i want to tell you about was Shelli, the owner. Not every trip will be perfect, however went our trip was going wrong she did everything she could to make our trip better. Shelli is a fine woman who cares about the people she rents to. I could not have asked for more from her, she is a great woman and has outstanding customer service. We would and will rent from Shelli again.

Just return from a September vacation at the Dolphin View. The place was fantastic. The house was roomy and welcoming. The pool was terrific and well cared for. The view is phenominal. No guessing, this one is a keeper! Thanks a million.
