This is an absolutely lovely vacation home -- very meticulous, and well decorated with upscale design work throughout the house! I would highly recommend staying here for not only the accomodations, but also for the ideal location, right on the border of Wailea and very close to the beach parks for terrific snorkeling. The salt water in-ground pool is spectacular and super clean if you prefer this to ocean swimming. I enjoyed chatting with Marcello and admiring the twins' artwork, which is displayed in all rooms of the guest house. I am extremely picky by nature, so my five star rating is well deserved. This option is far superior to staying in a local hotel room, which is not only more expensive, but less private and lacks access to a kitchen, outdoor grill, and covered patio!

Perfect Place to Stay in Maui

We had a wonderful time staying with another couple at Villa Paola in Maui. The home exceeded our expectations in every way. You can tell when an owner takes great pride in their property. Alessio and Marcello clearly do. The location of the home is close enough to the highway that it has easy access to most of what Maui has to offer. However, it is far enough away you feel secluded. The pool is enclosed and offers plenty of privacy. We ended up using it almost every day to cool off after spending time in the sun. The neighborhood felt safe and we had a place to park our rental car off the street. The amenities were well taken care of. We had access to pretty much anything you would need on Maui. The washer and dryer should allow for reuse of your clothing, so tell your spouses they don't need to overpack! We had a wonderful time and hope to stay here again when we return to Maui, hopefully sooner rather than later!

At the end of November, 2011 we spent 8 wonderful days at Villa Paola celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and can't possibly say enough about our experience. The accommodations were impeccable, from the beautiful, original artwork to the intricately designed tile patterns throughout. The property surrounding the villa is beautifully landscaped, complete with saltwater pool, providing you with your own private oasis when you are not enjoying the island. It was clear to us that the Twins not only take great pride in their property but do everything they can to ensure your stay is replete with every amenity. We went to Maui expecting a comfortable place to stay and left having enjoyed 5* accommodations! Everything we needed to enjoy our time in Maui was at our disposal. All the necessities were provided to us during our stay, ensuring our time was worry free and spent enjoying the property and the beauty of the island. We would like to thank the twins for a wonderful stay - one that we will not forget and which we hope to repeat sometime soon!

Maui Villa

We had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful villa. It was far enough removed from the hustle and bustle and a great place to relax in the pool if the waves were too high to snorkel or just a great place to relax period. The twins do everything to make your stay enjoyable and on top of that you get a feast for your eyes with all of their lovely paintings that decorate the villa. The pool water is so soft and luxurious you will never want to get out! If you are tired of staying in a Condo or hotel this is an amazing alternative, and the best thing about your stay will be meeting the Twins!

Marcello, Alessio & Darcy, Like so many others before us, we enjoyed Villa Paola immensely. What a Villa! The lanai was our favorite spot. We would sit for hours in the evening enjoying the surroundings, the quiet and the outstanding work you have done on the place. Every detail has been thought of. We had a blast in Maui and a large part of that fun was coming back "home" to Villa Paola each evening. Your personal touches and friendly hosting was much appreciated. If we needed something you were there to help. At the same time we had complete privacy. Our family loved your home. We would enjoy a return visit some day. Hopefully we can make that happen. A beautiful place to spend our 20th anniversary!

We were met by the owners (The Twins) when we checked in, and they made us feel right at home. The Villa itself is beautiful, but the artwork (all done by The Twins) is breathtaking! I found myself wandering through the house to look at each of the paintings multiple times during our stay. The Lanai is just as nice as the villa itself, we sat out just about every evening with a glass of wine, and every morning for breakfast. It was very relaxing and comfortable. The other nice thing is that it is very central to just about everything you might want to do on Maui, minutes away from some of the best restaurants and nice beaches! If we are lucky enough to return to Maui, I wouldn't hesitate to book Villa Paola again.

Marcello & Alessio, Villa Paola met all our expectations and more! We had a wonderfully relaxing vacation during our five day stay at your house. After three busy days in Oahu, we enjoyed the quiet luxury of laying by the pool, snorkeling at so many beautiful beaches on the southern shore, and watching the sunset as we strolled along the scenic walking path just minutes down the road. The Italian decor was lovely. You have added so much character to your home with your vision of bringing a little bit of Europe to Hawaii. this villa is tastefully decorated and excellent value for money. The Twins are fun and give you as much space as you want. The layout is a little unusual and one of the bedrooms is a little small and not truly "en-suite" as you have to into a common area. This though is the only negative point and did not detract from the overall enjoyment. Well worth the money compared to others we looked at and would stay there again if we went back to Maui. Great for one or two couples who want to relax.

Marcello, Allesio, and Daniela are gracious, thoughtful & accommodating hosts. We were completely refreshed after our stay in their cottage. The privacy and location made our time on Maui an experience we will remember with fondness. We stayed here in September 2006 and it was heavenly! Marcello was a great host (Alessio and Danielle were out of town) and the cottage is wonderful. Very clean, room, and well thought out down to the smallest details. The bathrooms were wonderful! We enjoyed reading in the sun in our private yard, as well as swimming in the pool. As someone else said, to stay somewhere else would be crazy! This place is awesome. We will definitely return with friends!

If you stay somewhere else, you are making a mistake. Alessio, Marcelleo and Danielle are by far the best hosts we have ever seen. When you meet them, you will understand. The cottage is decorated beyond belief and has everything you would ever need.If you are looking to relax and get away from the big city, this is the place to go.

This "Tuscany Villa" was a highlight during our trip to Maui.
