WEEKLY RENTAL. This bright and airy cottage is only a two and a half hours drive from Baltimore, Philadelphia and Washington, DC. It is the largest Key West style home in the community providing plenty of places to find a private spot. The house is single-family, on a corner lot built on pilings, surrounded by lots of trees and overlooking a pond. This comfortably and fully furnished home is about a mile from downtown Bethany Beach and its white, public, sandy beaches. This home is situated in a private community on a quiet street with covered parking under the house for four cars. An oversized outside shower with dressing area is also under the house, as well as an old-fashioned swing where you can day dream to your heart’s content.

The first floor of the house has hardwood floors and includes a large, fully-equipped kitchen, living room, full bath, bedroom with a Queen bed, and a second bedroom with twin beds. The first floor also includes a large great room overlooking the pond with Queen sleeper sofa, plenty of windows, fireplace, cathedral ceiling and ceiling fan. A large TV/DVD is mounted over the fireplace. Off the kitchen is a large sun room with sitting and eating areas where you can enjoy that morning cup of coffee or late night movie. Covered open-air seating and an open deck with gas grill adjoin the sun room. A full-size washer and dryer are located in a separate laundry room.

The second floor includes a separate master bedroom suite with a King bed, sitting area with couch, TV and DVD, and a full bath. The master bedroom opens to a large open sun deck where you can enjoy catching a few "rays" or gaze at the stars. The second floor also includes a separate loft area furnished with a twin bed and game table. All bedrooms have ceiling fans.

The Clearwater Community includes a swimming pool, tennis court and two "catch and release" fishing ponds. There are NO fees for use of these amenities. Public beaches are available at the Delaware Seashore Park and the Fenwick Island State Park. Public beaches are also available in Bethany Beach and South Bethany. Bethany has a beautiful beach and a wealth of restaurants and shops and is only a bike-ride away. It is also close to the sport fishing boats at Indian River Inlet in Delaware and at Ocean City, Maryland. Bethany is also close to the 140 tax-free outlet stores at Rehoboth Beach. There is nightlife, as well as boardwalks, amusement parks, restaurants up and down the coast from Ocean City to Rehoboth Beach. The town is also near the Assawoman Wildlife Refuge and the Rehoboth Bay for easy access to fishing, crabbing, hiking, and wildlife viewing, as well as boating activities including boat and jet ski rentals. For golfers, there are many golf courses nearby.
