This cabin is in the middle of Adams County apple orchard country. Michaux State Park is ten minutes away with the Appalachian Trail as well as other hiking trails, biking--both mountain (over 50 miles of mountain bike trails) and road biking. Enjoy swimming and fishing at Fuller Lake and Laurel Lake. There is a new Appalachian Trail Museum at Pine Grove and a walking tour of Camp Michaux--WWII interrogation center for Japanese and German POWs. Like to golf? Drive ten minutes to one beautiful course, 25 minutes to another.
Love country fairs? The first two weekends in October enjoy the Apple Harvest Festival five minutes away at the South Mountain Fairground. The cabin is conveniently located one and a half hours from Baltimore, two hours from Washington, DC, one and a half hours from Amish Country in Lancaster County and one and a half hours from Hershey Park.
