The Fuchsia Door is our largest apartment, with 2BR and 2BA offering comfort and style in a classic old Marfa adobe. This apartment is perfect for you and your friends to have a full eat-in kitchen and more space to relax in your private fenced patio.

The key to our colored door apartments is location, location, location. You are in the heart of Marfa's gallery district. The Get Go Specialty Grocery is across the street. Restaurants, coffee shops, the Marfa Book Company, and the Saturday morning (April-Dec.) farmer's market are within two blocks. You can come to Marfa and never use your car.

Of course, the world-famous Chinati Foundation Museum and Judd Foundation Museum are close by and must not be missed.

Enjoy your Marfa visit in comfort and style and then explore the stunning Big Bend region with Big Bend National Park, Big Bend State Park, many parks in Fort Davis, the border town of Ojinaga, and more!

    • Tom and Villis our stay was wonderful! Solitude is the perfect word for this little oasis. The place is self-contained and met our every need. The envirolet took a little getting use to! I loved the shower and on-demand water heater. The absolute best is the screened front porch. It is about 35 miles to the Bend Bend gate which was no big deal. The scenic views on the drive to Big Bend are great! The ranch supply store down the road is good and open from 9am-6pm. There are several good places to eat in Terlingua. The gas station has a wonderful breakfast buffet for $6.95. There is a little mexican restaurant called Chili Pepper's near the bank that is also good. Our favorite was the Starlite Theater and Bar in the Terlingua Ghost Town. The food was to die for after a 14 mile hike in the Chisos Mountains! Thanks for sharing your place!

      PLEASE NOTE: This very kind comment is however NOT about the Fuchsia Door but instead about a property we no longer own. It's still here because vrbo lets you recycle listings in the same area, but only the guests can withdraw their comment. We haven't been able to get them to do so.
