Relaxing venue with incredible lakeview sunrises and sunsets. Spacious, clean, with all the amenities we needed. Comfortable beds and luxurious linens. Large open eat-in kitchen that's well stocked w/dinnerware, cookware, bakeware, and utensils. The perfect place for gathering our large Rochester area family to celebrate our daughter's graduation from UofR Med School. The owner was easy to work with and very accommodating. A special thanks to Mary Frances for the waffle iron. Looking forward to a return visit.

My family and I fell in love with the house as soon as we walked through the front door. Plenty of room for us to spread out and right on the water! The house was updated, clean and easy to follow instructions for everything. There is plenty of things to do in the area and even spent a day at Niagara Falls - Amazing! The owner, Cyril was so accommodating, went above and beyond our needs and made us feel right at home. He is wonderful to work with and waas extremely helpful throughout the entire process. When we go back to Lake Ontario, we will definitely stay at this house again.

We spent the week at the LOBH and it was one of the best vacations we have ever had. The kitchen is the perfect size for big family cook outs. The daily breeze and soothing sounds of the waves made summer feel like it should (not to forget all of the corn and hot dogs a family could eat). We will surly be back to this house. Many of our family live in Rochester and even remarked how the house was starting to feel like "theirs." The neighbors are also very friendly. Thanks for a great stay.

Had a wonderful time staying at this lake house. We are from Florida and came up for a family reunion and for a 40th Wedding Anniversary party. We had family over periodically through the week and they were all impressed with the house.They wanted to know where I found it so they could recommend it to other family members who were coming to stay in Rochester. My 6 year old triplets loved swimming in the cool lake, especially when it got into the 90's. Very quiet neighborhood. Friendly neighbors. We had an issue with the sceptic tank and in less than 15 minutes after we called, someone was there to fix it & we didn't have any problems after that. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family. The only draw back was no a/c. but most nights the breeze off the lake cooled the rooms down. You'll love sitting under the tree next to the lake and feeling the breeze in your face and the sound of the surf crash against the rocks! So peaceful. So much better than staying in a stuffy hotel room! :) Thanks again! We had a wonderful time!

My family gathered at Lake Ontario Beach House 4th of July week 2011 and it was a perfect week. The home has everything you would need and more. Extremely comfortable and the view is out of this world. Everyone was happy from the 62 year old to the 2 year old and everyone in between. Beautifully decorated, internet, flat screen TV, set on a HUGE lot, very comfortable beds, very large great room, kitchen stocked with essentials, thick fluffy towels and more. We rented to have a place for our extended family to stay during college graduation. What a fabulous site! The house is roomy, and the proximity to and view of Lake Ontario is awe-inspiring. It's a calm and calming place, views of sunrise and sunsite are incredible. Kitchen is very well-equipped. House is really, really clean. Sofabed in common room is not comfortable, but we opted to sleep on the sofa which was fine. A great find.....

The owner is WONDERFUL! The house is only surpassed by the lakefront. The family room is super comfy. My daugther and I took walks every day down the private lane and down to the rocks on the water. The fall is gorgeous here; we saw hundreds of geese every day out on the water; many flew in each morning from surrounding ponds and would stay the day and fly out at night; it was like they greeted us every morning and said good night each night! Even saw white swans. Can't wait to get back in a month. A neighbor takes care of the place and she's a doll and always ready to help with anything. Thank you, Cyril! Lynne

The pictures online do not do the house justice - they are much bigger and better in person! We had my son's high school grad party/send off to Syracuse University/family reunion at LOBH and it was perfect! Property was perfect for all activities - from stone skipping, swimming, frisbee and roasting marshmallows! The interior was beautifully decorated and extremely well-stocked! Plenty of room inside for guests to spread out and not feel on top of one another. Will definitely return - maybe for the grad celebration from SU!

We had a wonderful stay during Christmas 2009 at LOBH. The house is open, spacious, and adequate for a large group or family. The view is spectacular. We loved the wireless internet for our multiple computers, the exercise equipment, and the flat screen entertainment center. The kitchen is well equipped with utensils, spices, pots n pans, oven & stove top. Refrigerator is large with freezer. Good supply of towels and sheets. Beds are really comfortable. All supplies were well stocked. Having a nice and personable manager, as an added plus, made our stay great in all ways. We would not hesitate to stay at LOBH again.

I'm almost afraid to say how much we loved and how perfect the LOBH is for fear of not being able to book a reservation in the future, but, I will. I grew up in Rochester and recently married a sweet Georgia girl. I wanted to show my wife and her parents Upstate NY. We stayed at the LOBH and had a great time. The LOBH is comfortable, well organized and equipped, meticulously clean upon arrival and just the perfect get away in so many ways. The lake, sunsets and sunrises and surrounding grounds are awesome. We did not want to come home and if we can get a reservation, we will come back.

Immaculately clean on arrival, every design and detail inside is carefully considered: whether for two or 6 or more, there is enough space for easy comfort. Don't judge this book by it's cover, it is a gracious living space inside, with loads of room outside. Yes, grand sunsets!

I can not tell you how much we loved LOBH. My daughter in is grad school in Rochester and one son works in the city. We had my youngest son and his girl and we are definitely coming back.....maybe even in the fall or winter.......it is such a private retreat. I made every sunrise and sunset and will miss them dearly.

Though my family an I were unable to use the reservation we made for this beach house, Cyril worked very hard to restore our deposit. We received conscientious care and notification although we were not going to be renters. I was genuinely impressed with the professional ethics of this rental agency.

My family joined me on a trip from Texas to Rochester to attend my son's graduation from the Univ. of Rochester. I am so glad I found this beautiful lake-house for us to stay in for the 3 nights we were there. It had everything we needed. Being by the lake was awesome! My brother and brothers-in-law enjoyed the fishing! We enjoyed having a full kitchen (plus grill) to cook our meals. It was so much better than staying in cramped hotel rooms. It was also very convenient to the college campus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lake Ontario Beach House; and hope to stay there again someday. We were happy to meet Mary Francis; she's a real gem!

We are from Rochester and wanted to get away for a restful vacation, but still stay relatively close to the city. LOBH was the perfect combination of location and accommodation. It was very pleasant to be right on the lake and to be able to watch (and hear) the lake from the comfort of the living room and deck. Hamlin Beach was just 10 miles away for long walks along the lake. And the city was only 20-30 minutes away. We were pleasantly surprised to see how clean and well-stocked the house was. LOBH was the ideal home-away-from home and we felt very comfortable there. We spent 2 weeks at LOBH (April-May, 2009) and would certainly come again for another get-away.

I planned a fishing trip for mid-Sept with 3 friends from south Texas, off of South Padre Island. Now these guys take great fishing trips all over the Gulf of Mexico to places like Cabo San Lucas. My challenge, since there are no great hotels on Lake Ontario, was to find some accommodations that would satisfy them. Well, I hit the Jackpot with this place. The pictures don't do it justice. It's better than advertised. Spacious, clean, roomy outstanding interior accent lighting. top shelf appliances, furniture, bedding. Huge lot with an outstanding view. The guys were impressed!! Did I say that it was clean, clean, clean and had a great view!! I also hit the Jackpot again with our fishing charter. I hired Captain John Oravec of Troutman Charters out of Point Breeze for full day charters on Friday and Saturday, Sept 19 & 20. He has a 30 meter Trojan. We were 4 but it could easily handle 6 people. The weather was great and we landed some huge Salmon in the 22 to 30 lb range. He's been doing it for over 30 years with tons of knowlege. He's done articles for In-fisherman and numerous TV shows. His phone# 1-800-443-2510. If your coming to Lake Ontario the LOBH is a must and if you Like fishing for Huge fish call Captain John.

Twenty-five years ago a girl friends birthday party initiated a tradition. Yearly, Debbie, Terri, Sherry and Marcie gather to celebrate their friendship. This year, 2008, we spent a delightful week on the shores of Lake Ontario, at your lovely beach house. Terri was thrilled with the constant breeze. You were right, no need for air conditioning! Marcie used the trundle mattress on the upper porch and loved sleeping out doors! Sherry spent her day’s sun tanning on the deck, enjoying the beautiful view. Thank you Mary Frances for the blender. I would agree with everything that has been posted by other guests. Clean with a great interior, but I would also add the high def TV is excellent. If there was one thing that stood out to me was the phenomenal view from the great room just off the lake. The view is very special and would be worth seeing again

We rented your beautiful house in October and I felt I must post a comment. The accommodations were absolutely perfect lots of room and impeccably clean!!! From the decorating to the fabulous large porch with lake front breeze, to comfortable beds and bedding, everything was better than we ever thought renting a house would be!
