My wife and daughters had a fantastic time at this wonderful villa. Very quiet, private, well appointed, comfortable and well cared for. The owners were very genuine and hospitable. Great for roaming the region by bicycle or car. Hope to return.

My family of 5 had the most wonderful experience!! Nobody wanted to leave! My children, ranging in age from 10-15 years old, loved the place as did my husband. My family is already planning a trip back!! The family is very accommodating, helpful, and giving. We had fresh eggs and olive oil, and the grocery store is very close. Ideal location. If this is available, take it!!

The host family was wonderful and I would highly recommend staying here. The accommodations were clean and comfortable and the hosts were very helpful. The location is absolutely beautiful. My only regret was that we didn't spend more time there.

One word…FANTASTIC! Barbara was helpful in communicating via email prior to our arrival. All of the previous reviews of this family are correct. They treat you like family. When we were lost upon arrival, they came and got us from the nearby store. When we had questions, they had answers. They provided a wonderful hand-drawn map of the village pointing out important sites (nearby restaurants, estates, bus stations, etc.). Many evenings our family walked into the nearby village along a wonderfully wooded road for the pizzeria, gelato, and restaurants. It was as beautiful as a movie scene. They gave us fresh eggs from their resident hens and olive oil produced on their farm. One afternoon, while we were sitting poolside, Barbara brought us the most delicious biscotti still warm from the oven. The farmhouse is exquisite and so very clean. This family takes great pride in their pristine 16th century home and is so excited to share it with you. We enjoyed our meals on the back terrace overlooking the post-card-perfect scenery. Our three teen-aged children appreciated the Wi-Fi. The location is great. We made day trips to Florence, Pisa, Lucca, and more. This farmhouse and family was the best part of our Italian vacation and we hope to return someday.

Summer holiday with my young family and parents. Villa Fuccioli is a very pleasant villa, well furnished, very clean, very comfortable with lovely views, located in an Olive grove. We really enjoyed our stay. The children loved the pool and having breakfast on the terrace. The swimming pool is medium sized and not very deep so ideal for our young children, one of whom was learning to swim. We ate out on the terrace every night and watched the sun set. Lovely lunches in the shade by the swimming pool. Surrounded by fruit trees and herbs plus the Olive trees (you can buy their excellent oil). The very charming owners live next door and helped us to book restaurants, find our way around and go wine-tasting (strongly recommend), making the holiday go very smoothly. Nearby Carmignano (10 mins walk) is a pleasant little town for coffee/bakery/restaurants/weekly market/chemist etc. Florence is a short drive or bus. Car essential for shopping runs to supermarket and day trips.

This was an excellent location. Our group of 6 were able to travel all around this part of Italy without any problems. We rented a van in Rome, drove to the villa and met the most wonderful family ever. Their hospitality made this feel as if we were staying with family. The villa was beautiful, the rooms very well maintained and exceptionally clean. Barbara spoke very good English and was extremely helpful. On Mother's Day they made us a meal that was outstanding. Our stay at this villa made our vacation ever so special. Everywhere we traveled the people were so very helpful. We drove to the bus stop, not far from the villa, and took a bus into Florence. Be sure to leave in time to catch the last bus back and get your round trip tickets in advance. We drove to Pisa (an absolute must), and to various walled cities. We used our Garmin and it worked great. I also took my "Alien" (a translator) that came in handy in small shops. Everywhere we went the food was fantastic -- so fresh. The drive through Tuscany was so beautiful that you had to pinch yourself to believe you were there. Definitely would recommend this villa and the lovely family that runs it.
Owner response:Thanks! You are everybody in our hearts, a wonderful unforgettable memory.
