Our Seabrook retreat is waiting for your visit and enjoyment. Seabrook Island is a 2200-acre barrier island with miles of wide uncrowded beaches. It is truly a private gated community accessible only to owners and their guests. It is one of the best-kept secrets along the Eastern seaboard. Seabrook is 20 miles from lovely Charleston where you will find excellent shopping, outstanding restaurants, and many historic points of interest.
Our home is on a private quiet cul-de-sac. There is a large deck on the back of the house facing the fairway of the par three, fifth hole of the Robert Trent Jones Crooked Oaks Golf Course. You will have views from tee to green. The deck is divided with an open area off the master bedroom, an open area with a new gas grill, stairs to the fairway off the dining room, and a screened porch off the living room with a table and four chairs.
The master suite has a king and an oversized bath with jacuzzi tub and separate shower. One guest room has a queen and the other two twins. They share the second bath. All bedrooms plus the living room and dining areas have ceiling fans.
From a large entry hall, the living room contains a full entertainment center. The kitchen is fully equipped and set off from the dining area which comfortably seats six. Sliding doors off the master suite, living room, and dining room afford great golf course views. Additionally, live oak, pine, and palm trees on the property and golf course serve to block out the hot sun so you can enjoy the porches.
Just outside the Seabrook gate, enjoy shopping and dining at the Bohicket Marina. Kayaking, power boat, fishing, and sightseeing charters are also available. Kiawah Island is minutes away where shops, golf, and restaurants are also available. A brand-new shopping complex, Freshfields, has recently opened offering a large food market, clothing stores, a drug store, banks, medical facilities, cleaners, and much more.
The rental of our home includes an Amenity Card for the Seabrook Island Club. This provides you access to all club facilities including two championship 18-hole golf courses, practice range, equestrian center, two swimming pools, the club restaurants and small bars, and 15 clay tennis courts. In addition, there is a new fitness center and kids play activities. Bicycle rentals are available. All roads are private and posted at 25 mph - which is strictly enforced - which makes biking a favorite and safe mode of transportation. A favorite of young and old is the crabbing dock and small observation deck overlooking the marshes toward the ocean. A small boat ramp is available near the crab dock for kayak launching. |
