  This was the most amazing condo. The big window in the living room overlooks the sea and beach. It was delightful to wake up to the sound of waves crashing the shores. The location is great with lots of good restaurants and clubs close by. There are grocery stores and walgreens and it's literally 5 min drive from airport. The apartment had everything, fully furnished kitchen, in-unit laundry and a parking spot which was really essential as we booked car for the whole week we were there. Jorge was really understanding and tried in all possible ways to make our vacation smooth and enjoyable. The security personnel in building were amazing too. Always ready to help. We were group of 6 friends and we all just didn't wanted to leave the apt. I am definitely going to book this apartment next time I am in San Juan. Thanks Jorge for amazing hospitality.

  This is my first time renting a condo on Homeaway, and I have to say my experience is exceptional. Jorge, the property manager, is really nice. The location of this condo is unbeatable. It is located right behind the water beach club hotel. You have pretty much everything you will need in the apartment already. Would love to return soon.

  There were not too many choices for 3 bedroom, 2 bath but this apartment fit our needs perfectly. The location was great, with an easy walk to beach, pool and car rental; giving us access to both day-trips and day-relaxing! The pool (closed on Monday's) was well maintained & nice escape from the sand. The apartment also granted easy access to the beach. The apartment was cool, clean & spacious. There were a few issues with cabinet doors & leaky faucet, but Jorge was very responsive in resolving those identified issues. We stayed 7 days & could have easily stayed longer. I was pleased with the customer service. Jorge responded to each email & phone call. Our security deposit was credited back the same day! I would not hesitate to stay there again.

  The apartment is very spacious, very clean and has an amazing view of the beach from the 18th floor. The apartment is very close to the airport, restaurants, casinos, Old San Juan, etc. In addition, Jorge, the property manager is extremely accomodating and a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend this apartment if you are planning on staying in this area.

  This condo was amazing. I cannot begin to tell you how much the 6 of us NYC girls had! The view of the beach is stunning from the 18th floor. Its quiet and peaceful while looking out into the ocean. Once you come downstairs, there is a 24 hr Walgreens directly across the street, fast food for late night cravings, and also down the street is El San Juan hotel and casino (which has club "Brava" and "Brother Jimmys") The pictures and description of this place is EXACTLY as you see it! Its so spacious. More than enough room for 6 girls getting ready to hit the club! The place is very well maintained and extremely clean. There are plenty of towels and extra sheets. The kitchen is fully stocked with plates and silverware. The washer and dryer was a bonus. No dishwasher. (Who wants to do dishes anyway- we went to Walgreens for plastic plates and cups) I recommend this place to anyone and everyone looking for a place to stay in San Juan. Its conveniently located 5 minutes from the airport (You dont even hear the planes above you). We definitely plan on making this an annual trip for us and we will continue to stay in this condo! Kind of like our second PR home. Jorge is very accommodating and was a pleasure to deal with. Looking forward to coming back!

  I loved the apartment is beautiful, the view, everything was close, restaurants, pharmacy, definitely recommend it to anyone and when I return to Puerto Rico I will rent again because they have a lot of security and are super friendly, I felt like home.Thanks George, God bless you, never change because your work is excellent, see you soon Sincerely, Luz Ramos

  Just returned from a 2 week stay at Marbella East 1812. The beach and location are terrific; great access to hotels, restaurants, and other amenities. To say that the unit is "sparsely furnished and equipped" is an understatement! We ended up buying a few basic things and borrowing a couple of furnishings in order to make our stay more comfortable. The unit itself was clean; there is also a lot of storage. Bathrooms have been updated and are very functional. However, it is clear that the very busy rental schedule here, has not allowed for some basic maintenance to be performed. On the PLUS PLUS side, Jorge Beardsley, the manager on site, is most accommodating and incredibly helpful; a true gem! The owner of this condo is very fortunate to have him as the manager! I would definitely use his services again.

  While the condo was nice, comfortable and clean with good location, we had a few issues with the lack of items available to the guest. If you plan to do any cooking for your family, the kitchen does not include a full set of pots and pans. There was one tiny saute pan and one saucepan with was dirty. The other big issue is that there were no pillows with pillowcases in the bedrooms. They bedrooms had pillows covered with shams for decoration but not usable as sleeping pillows. Also, there is no gym in the building unless a windowless room with no ventiliton and three weights is considered a gym. Lastly, even though we were on the 18th floor, the noise was awefull.

  Just spent two weeks here and it felt like home. Roomy condo, neat & clean. Kitchen was nice but not well equipped for real cooking (my husband is like an Iron Chef). When I complained to Jorge about it, he quickly told me to buy what I needed to cook with and he'd reimburse us. He was very helpful & available. Furniture sparse but comfortable. Could have used a larger dining room table (only seats 4 even though a 3 bedroom condo). Washer & dryer handy. Ants a constant problem in the kitchen but probably an island hazard (I've fought my own battles with them at home). Had to keep everything in the refrigerator or covered with ants. Great view from the 18th floor, including beach, side and street side (corner unit) which was great when the fireworks went off as far as you could see New Year's Eve. Awesome sight! Balcony was built out so you can't sit outside but the windows open easily for ocean breezes. Across the street you have a 24-hr Walgreens which has all the staples plus beer, wine & liquor, the 24/7 Pizza City and Mexican bar & grill El Taquito which came in handy when everything else was closed New Year's day. Several bars & clubs across the street get going about 1 a.m and go until 6 or 7 a.m. 4 casinos within walking distance, El San Juan the nicest (elegant). Fast food and restaurants everywhere, a grocery store a few blocks away. Not much shopping nearby. Few miles away there's a huge mall just like at home but it cost $20 one way for the cab ride. Would have liked more unique shopping. Bus right out front takes you into Old San Juan. Charlie Car Rental across the street. We only rented a car for two days out of the 13 we were there. Driving around OK but parking difficult. The condo provides a handy parking space underground very close to the elevator. Feels like Miami, being a kind of urban setting. Beach out back was beautiful with guys who rented beach chairs for $4/day, a lady selling delicious hot empanandillas once a day, an icy fruit treat peddler. You can walk half and hour in either direction. Not crowded even during holiday weekend. Lots of shade thanks to palm trees and afternoon building shade. Spent most of our time lounging on the beach, so peaceful! Pool very clean & nice. Security was tight and we felt very safe walking around in the neighborhood. Police presence very high. Beach is pretty but no snorkeling nearby. Can rent jet skis. Food was kind of expensive, being in the resort area.
