Enjoy the sparkling sands and surf of the Gulf of Mexico through the large picture windows in the living room and master bedroom or from the porch of this spacious ground floor, two bedroom, two bath condominium. You can walk directly from the fully furnished porch to the pool, spa, shared barbeque area or the gate leading down to the beach.
This condominium, Unit 103, has two bedrooms with separate baths and closets and a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room. The master has a king-size bed. The second bedroom has a twin and queen-size bed. Each bedroom has its own flat screen TV with cable and a DVD/VCR. There is also a TV in the living room with a DVD/VCR and a collection of tapes. The living room has a stereo with tape deck and CD player. There is WIFI access in the condo.
The kitchen is fully furnished with everything you need to cook and serve a delicious meal, including pots and pans, cooking utensils, plates, silverware, coffee maker, microwave, blender, toaster and glasses. Clean up is easy with the new dishwasher. There is a bar eating area across from the kitchen sink with four bar stools, in addition to the dining table. You can also enjoy your meals or morning coffee on the porch with the table and four chairs shaded by the palm tree.
Suntide II has an ocean front spa, swimming pool, sun deck and barbeque area with grills available for no charge on a first come, first serve basis. A volleyball net is located on the beach directly in front of the complex. A regulation lighted tennis court is located the second floor and rackets and tennis balls are on loan in the office. Coin operated laundries are available for guests.
Suntide II's excellent staff is located on the premises allowing for daily linen exchange and quick response to any maintenance request. In addition, there is on-site check-in and check-out during normal business hours and during extended hours on weekends and holidays.

We appreciate having the on-site managment and many attributes of Suntide II. Last year we purchased a second unit at Suntide II, Unit 301, after looking at the other locations on the island we choose Suntide II once again.

Our family grew up going to the Texas beaches. We loved South Padre the first time we went and love making memories at Suntide II. We looked at all the places on the Island and thought Suntide II was just right. Large enough to have all the amenities but small to feel as if you have your own piece of heaven on earth.

This condo was the perfect spot for a relaxing, fun and wonderful vacation. Located on the ground floor, you just walk out the door and the beautiful beach is right in front of you. Also, breathtaking view of ocean as you relax in the condo itself. This condo is sparking clean with a well supplied kitchen with all modern conveniences, from toaster and coffee pot to blender,microwave and more. The decorating is pleasant and seems to be recent. You feel comfortable there. The bathrooms are so clean, they look to be new. As for the location, it is just right. The Suntide II is (thankfully) far enough away from the huge highrises and masses of people, yet a great spot to get to all island activities easily. Easy parking. I almost hesitate to share about this marvelous spot because I plan to return there soon.

This condo is beautiful and filled with all the comforts of home. Tons of books, movies and the kitchen even had sippy cups for the kids not to mention every thing you could possibly need to prepare a meal. The master bath is beautiful and even had a walk in closet! We loved the sitting area by the window where we could relax and enjoy the view or read a book. We had never stayed on the ground floor before but highly recommend it! The grassy area is perfect for kids to play. The attention to every detail is incredible and you can tell that the owners want you to have a wonderful time. We all said that this was the BEST vacation we have ever had and the best condo we have ever stayed in! We will definitely be back next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you so much for opeing your home to us. We were in need of rest and refreshment and that is exactly what your condo and SPI provided! We loved the sunrises, watching the crabs and segulls, building sand "things" :) (not exactly castles!), and walks along the beach. South Padre Island is a great place to vacation. Lots to do and see and it's all very compact. Walking on the beach was wonderful. It was a little hot and humid but the constant gulf breeze (sometime wind) made it feel cooler than it was. Learned to surf for $40 (great price South Padre Surf Corp). Sea Ranch (fancy place) and Dirty Al's (very casual) had great shrimp.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Our family had a great time relaxing in SPI. We saw the sea turtles, took a dinner catamaran cruise, ate at the amazing sea food places. We found many cool shells and sea life by the beach, learned to surf and even had time for a round of golf and mini golf. It was a wonderful experience and we're all sad to be going back home to Minnesota. The condo has a great place to relax we'll have many great memories from SPI.

Dear Ownwers of #103, My family and I came to South Padre Island for my 16th Birthday. We had a wonderful time in this beautiful condo. The view is spectacular. Furnishings and kitchen are wonderful. We had a few problems with some appliances; the TV in the front bedroom and the can opener. Thank you for letting us stay here.
