We stayed during Christmas 2011. The accommodations were excellent. Very clean, comfortable and great access to everything on the island. We look forward to coming to enjoy a little better weather than we had and will definately stay here again if at all possible. Thank you for opening your vacation home to us.

we had so much fun!!! even tho we had to say in casue of a front the came in. we had so much fun just being here together as a family.

I recently stayed in this condo and couldn't be more pleased. It had recently been updated and remodeled with LCD tv's in every room. I didn't watch much tv while there because the beach was in such great condition but it was a great night cap to have around. The living space was well organized and extremely clean. The beds were very comfortable. The location was perfect, right on the beach and away from the extremely crowded part of the beach. This was the best vacation in recent memory and I feel that this is due in most part to choosing to stay in this great condo. I would highly recommend to anyone thinking about taking their family or a group of friends on vacation!!!

We had a family vacation here in 9/25/09. It was raining the morning we arrive, but the rest of the week was in the 90's and half sun and clouds. But for my grandchildren it was great! They were able to stay on the beach longer and every day because the sun wasn't constant. This condo is very roomy, clean, and updated.Everything you need is there Great access to the beach and pool which made it so easy with the kids. We ate out only once. My grandchildren 1 & 6 loved the beach. We built sandcastles everyday,went into the water (yes.. it was warm)flew a kite on the beach, and went parasailing, walked the beach,and watched the sunrise. We are planning our next vacation, We all want to go back.

Our family can not say enough about the lovely condo we stayed in. The recently remodeled unit was very nice. The rooms were spacious and well furnished. Our favorite part was the view, plus we enjoyed opening the balcony door and listening to the ocean. The facility had a very nice maintenance man who addressed the minor concerns we had. The pool and hot tub area were clean and pleasant. The location was great. South Padre Island and this unit made a great combination for a wonderful vacation.

Thank you so much for opeing your home to us. We were in need of rest and refreshment and that is exactly what your condo and SPI provided! We loved the sunrises, watching the crabs and segulls, building sand "things" :) (not exactly castles!), and walks along the beach. Our family had a great time relaxing in SPI. We saw the sea turtles, took a dinner catamaran cruise, ate at the amazing sea food places. We found many cool shells and sea life by the beach, learned to surf and even had time for a round of golf and mini golf. It was a wonderful experience and we're all sad to be going back home to Minnesota. The condo has a great place to relax we'll have many great memories from SPI.

Dear Ownwers of #103, My family and I came to South Padre Island for my 16th Birthday. We had a wonderful time in this beautiful condo. The view is spectacular. Furnishings and kitchen are wonderful. We had a few problems with some appliances; the TV in the front bedroom and the can opener. Thank you for letting us stay here. Dear Hurt family, This is our 6th year to vacation on SPI, my husband is a minister and I am a school teacher. At first we tried staying one block from the beach and then on Gulf Blvd. Then we began to look at Beach front condos, after 2 or 3, we found your "Southern Home #103"and we love it! It is perfect for our family, we have one daughter, she is 8 yrs old and in the 3rd grade. He has always love the beach and she thinks 103 is the perfect beach-get-a-way! We truly enjoy your place and the re-model has turned our beautiful! All the little extras that you have gone to the trouble of doing, are a big help - "S.P.I. Big Book" is always helpful; the labels on the TV, VCR, remotes, etc. a real blessing! Thanks for all the extras, whereever your travels take you I hope you are treated as well. Next week I will put our reservation in to spend next "Thanksgiving"here at #103, we will go home and start filling our loose change jar and saving toward another wonderful, relaxing stay, building lots more great memories!
