'FALLS MELODY'
This dramatic custom designed home is situated at above 3000 feet elevation, it overlooks a rushing creek, and a small waterfall, both situated on the property. You can access the creek from the stairs cut into the hillside, or just sit on the terrace above the falls. The large back deck is situated above the road, and gives a panoramic view of the treetops. The firepit is perfect for an evening marshmellow roast. The creek is suitable for wading, and the melody of the rushing water provides for many a relaxing afternoon. There is an area suitable for swimming and sliding less than 2 miles from the house.
The back deck is ideal for outdoor dining, or just relaxing after a busy day. Our guests often comment that while we are a little out of the way, the peace and quiet and serenity at the end of the day is well worth it.
The home is ideally situated. We are 7 miles off of the Smokey Mountain Expressway, which provides easy access to many attractions. Some local attractions include Nantahala Rafting, Zip lining, Deep Creek Tubing, Great Smoky Mountain RR, Great Smokey Mountains National Park, Lake Fontana, Bryson City, Cherokee, Dillsboro, Sylva, Waynesville, and Maggie Valley. Other destinations within 1 to 2 hours drive, including Pigeon Forge, TN, Gatilinburg, TN, and Ashville, NC.

We stayed here last summer and had a blast! There were 11 if us total, 4 children and 7 adults. The cabin was plenty big and the kids loved the creek. We would be coming back this year but we have expanded our group to 16. My husband and I spent Memorial Day Weekend here with our dogs! LOVE, LOVE, LOVED it! Great home, even better creek. It was hard to leave!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

A little off the beaten path...but well worth it! The house was beautiful- a great view of the creek below from the deck. We went to the recommended swimming hole and had a blast. Peaceful and quiet- except for the trucks occasionally going up or down the mountain road. Terrific accommodations!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

The perfect place to get away! The only thing that could possibly have made it better is coming without the kids. The kids loved sliding rock. We all loved Cooper Creek fishing pond. We had a great vacation!! My boys loved the creek where they found enough crawdads for the four of us to have for dinner. Everything was wonderful.
