"FALLS MELODY"
This dramatic custom designed home is situated at above 3000 feet elevation, it overlooks a rushing creek, and a small waterfall, both situated on the property. You can access the creek from the stairs cut into the hillside, or just sit on the terrace above the falls. The large back deck is situated above the road, and gives a panoramic view of the treetops. The firepit is perfect for an evening marshmellow roast. The creek is suitable for wading, and the melody of the rushing water provides for many a relaxing afternoon. There is an area suitable for swimming and sliding less than 2 miles from the house.
The back deck is ideal for outdoor dining, or just rocking on the old fashioned rockers. Our guests often comment that while we are a little out of the way, the peace and quiet and serenity at the end of the day is well worth it.
The home is ideally situated. We are 7 miles off of the Smokey Mountain Expressway, which provides easy access to many attractions. Some local attractions include Nantahala Rafting, Zip lining, Deep Creek Tubing, Great Smoky Mountain RR, Great Smokey Mountains National Park, Lake Fontana, Bryson City, Cherokee, Dillsboro, Sylva, Waynesville, and Maggie Valley. Other destinations within 1 to 2 hours drive, including Pigeon Forge, TN, Gatilinburg, TN, and Ashville, NC.

This home was a custom designed home. It has slate floors in the foyer & kitchen, tile floors in the baths. There is rustic wood paneling and catherdral ceilings in the livingroom. Most of our guests comment on how restful it is, and everyone enjoys the creek & falls.

The perfect place to get away! The only thing that could possibly have made it better is coming without the kids. The kids loved sliding rock. We all loved Cooper Creek fishing pond. The fish were great on the grill. We are already planning our next trip.

We had a great vacation!! My boys loved the creek where they found enough crawdads for the four of us to have for dinner. Everything was wonderful. The only downfall that we found, was the distance from town, which we eventually got used to. Thanks again.

We have had a wonderful time. It has been very relaxing. We have shopped in Cherokee and tubed down the rivers The kids loved playing in the creek, and my husband and I enjoyed listening to the sound of the creek at night before going to sleep.
