  We stayed here last summer and had a blast! There were 11 if us total, 4 children and 7 adults. The cabin was plenty big and the kids loved the creek. We would be coming back this year but we have expanded our group to 16. Thank you Linda for sharing your home with us. -Amanda Long

  My husband and I spent Memorial Day Weekend here with our dogs! LOVE, LOVE, LOVED it! Great home, even better creek. It was hard to leave!

  A little off the beaten path...but well worth it! The house was beautiful- a great view of the creek below from the deck. We went to the recommended swimming hole and had a blast. Peaceful and quiet- except for the trucks occasionally going up or down the mountain road. Terrific accommodations!

  We enjoyed this home away from home. Had fun listening to & exploring the waterfall. We had a campfire last night. All in all a peaceful, relaxing retreat! A great addition to our mountain experience. Thank you!

  The perfect place to get away! The only thing that could possibly have made it better is coming without the kids. The kids loved sliding rock. We all loved Cooper Creek fishing pond. The fish were great on the grill. We are already planning our next trip.

  Had a wonderful time. Sorry to be leaving here. Spent the weekend with 2 daughters, one sister one niece & five granddaughters. We had a good time and the house was more than I dreamed it would be. Thank you for letting us use your house & I hope to come back very soon.

  We had a great vacation!! My boys loved the creek where they found enough crawdads for the four of us to have for dinner. Everything was wonderful. The only downfall that we found, was the distance from town, which we eventually got used to. Thanks again.

  Our first visit to this area, definitely not our last! we have felt at home here since we walked jn, & wish we'd planned to stay for more than a week. We came for a relaxing stay & found the perfect place. We've all gotten in a lot of reading & some games, as well as a few day trips and movies at night. Thank you for providing such wonderful accommodations in a beautiful setting. We'll be back.

  I didn't wANt TO go home! What as wonderful, peaceful place to stay. My kids Loved it! Like my 5 year old said "this is the best cabin I've ever stayed in" Thank you for letting us stay.

  We have had a wonderful time. It has been very relaxing. We have shopped in Cherokee and tubed down the rivers The kids loved playing in the creek, and my husband and I enjoyed listening to the sound of the creek at night before going to sleep. We are definitely planning another trip here. Thank you for allowing us to use our home.

  Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family. We are so grateful that you did, and plan to come back. We have enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the stream lulled us to sleep each night, almost as good as rain on a ti roof. Wish we could have stayed longer, or even forever. hated to leave and go back to the real world. Thank you again!

  What a perfect get-away, to unwind after completing taxes. Short drive out of Atlanta, the sound of the waterfall, cool mountain breeze, the perfect setting for adult relaxation. No cell phone service- what a blessing. Top that off with a short drive to Harrah's, winning a small amount of $$, what a great weekend. Thanks

  What a fantastic place to get away from the world- beautiful waterfall which we enjoyed thoroughly. I worked numerous summers up at Fontana Village so this area is always my Sanctuary. Thanks for a great time.

  Beautiful house with all the comforts of home. Plenty of room. Nice & private. We enjoyed our stay. Drove the Skyway & through the gorge. Went on the Road to Nowhere, and deep Creek Falls. Weather was perfect, warm days & cool nights. Built a fire in the pit. Spent time with God & each other. Also went to Maggie Valley and the Clogging Championships, lots of entertainment there. We enjoyed the fireplace, coffee on the deck & the peaceful surroundings

  We had a great visit here. It was the perfect place for our mini-reunion. The downstairs family room was a great place for the whole family to comfortably chat & watch slides of when the brothers were little boys. The creek, waterfall and deck were delightful! Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home, especially at the last minute when our plans for another rental fell through.

  Thank you for sharing this beautiful home. We had a terrific weekend playing in the creek & going through all of the quaint stores in Bryson City & Cherokee Ken in the Chamber of Commerce was extremely helpful & friendly. We had the most fun at the Ruby Mines down from Cherokee. We found a 5 carat emerald, sapphires, garnets and a citrine. What a blast for the kids!! Take care.

  We had the most relaxing week of our lives here! Loved everything about the house. Felt right at home as soon as we walked in the door. And the waterfall- what can we say? We nerer wanted to leave, but we did.. We did all the touristy things, rode the GSMRR went whitewater rafting, went to cherokee and got on the parkway. We ate at Jimmy Macs several times- wonderful blackended grouper sandwich! Again this was truly the most relaxing vacation ever- w'ere so stress free we're pathetically lazy! The sound of the waterfall at night was so soothing. It lulled us to sleep every night

  We had a wonderful stay! The house was everything we'd hoped it would be and more. We relly appreciated the games, cards, and TV and phone service. But most of all we loved the setting. We enjoyed morning coffee on the deck listening to the creek. Our outings included hiking the gold mine trail by the road to nowhere end, where we took a spontaneous swim mid-way through our hike, We also enjoyed the top of Clingmans Dome and on two different sections of the Appalachian Trail. The water was low so we hiked at Deep Creek, but didn't do the tubing. We loved the rafting the Nanatahala River the best, went down twice in the same day. Lots of arguing, laughing and surprises! the hottest days we swam in Lake Fontana in a little inlet close to a public access west of Bryson City. We ate at Jimmy Macs because a previous guest had recommended it, and we were not disappointed! Wonderful atmosphere. On our last day we went horseback riding at the Nantahala Village We loved returning to the cabin after a busy day of outdoor activities, the kids played in the creeek and had a camp fire s'mores. We found the people in NC incredibly friendly & helpful Thanks for making this our best family trip ever, by sharing your cabin with us

  We loved your beautiful spacious home & the pretty waterfalls & creek. Our 3 kids (10 year old twins & an 8 year old) had a blast playing in the creek, and sliding down the sliding rock (8/10 of a mile beyond Unahala Creek Rd cut off on Alarka Rd) and catching lightning bugs. All of us enjoyed visiting Cherokee & Clingman's Dome, riding the train & tubing at Deep Creek & eating at Jimmy macs. Whitewater rafting on the Nantahala was alot of fun too, especially for my 83 year old mom who had never been rafting before. The beauty of the area, and watching the wildlife, such as the butterflies, rabbits, nuthatches & wiid turkeys fed our soul every day. Thanks.

  Enjoyed it very much. Very roomy for entertaining some of our local friends! We needed a relaxing place to recover from whitewater rafting Nantahala (10+) horseback riding in Maggie Valley and of course shopping in Cherokee. Loved the local fireworks- Thank you for keeping such a nice place, we'll try it again sometime

  Thanks for letting me and my family stay in this wonderful home. I really enjoyed it. It was a vacation much needed. At first the ride up here was all right, but it was worth it. At night the river sound was really great. Hope to be writing in this book sometime soon

  Wonderful spot. Our kids played in the falls and the creek looking for crawfish & salamanders. great place for fires and marshmallows. Whitewater rafting on the Nantahala, Hiking at Deep Creek & Joyce Kilmer. The weather was perfect, sunny and warm during the day & wonderfully cool at night. We loved that being from Florida. Thanks again.

  Thanks for a restful retreat! This place was a great place to have some alone time without our 3 kids! We did venture out to Harrah's, and rafted down the Nantahala, but after that we just relaxed. I slept like a baby listening to the falls!

  Great cabin, quiet and cozy. Beats the tourists back home- we like not hearing the jets at USN. Loved the pace of life, good spirited folks, the trails, waterfalls & whitewater rafting trips. Check out the bears early in the AM at Cades Cove, we saw 13-14 bears and 9 cubs!!!If you bike wed/sat mornings they let the cars in at 10am, do it without the cars. This place is a cozy warm return from a days activity. Love it.

  We had a quiet restful place to come home to each night. It was like having a gentle rain to listen to the stream and the falls. The water was low at Deep Creek and so was more work than typical. My husband still managed to go completely under at the small falls above the first bridge. Rafting was a blast but hadn't counted on it being so busy.We had to try several places before we could rent one, and this after we could not find a boat to rent at Fontana. Thanks

  We had a great vacation. The house was more than we expected, large and well equipped. The kids enjoyed playing in the creek. We went to the Tuckaleechee Caverns, Deep Creek, Nantahala River, Chimneys, Cherokee, Sliding Rock & Jet- Boats. We highly recommend the drive to sliding rock for the kids. They also really enjoyed the Gem Mines in Cherokee, which were surprisingly reasonably priced. Thank you for sharing your house.
