The house is a summer bungalow that we have renovated and enjoy with our family. It is a casual home so you can kick off your sandals and enjoy. An outdoor shower is provided; as well as a brick BBQ, huge trex deck, gazebo with awning on deck, and children’s swing set. The back yard is equipped with a flood light for nighttime volleyball games or activities.
This family beach house is a short stroll down a sandy road to a beach shared by about eight homes which make up the summertime community. The children can dig in the sand or fish from the beach while you relax and catch up on your reading. The water is generally calm and you can safely wade out for yards. Make sure to stay and watch the beautiful sunsets. The house is on a dead end street so the children can play safely while you get the BBQ going. No children?? That‘s fine too. Spend the day tasting wine at the many wineries on the north fork and bring home a bottle or two to enjoy by the fireplace built into the large deck out back. Imagine enjoying a roaring fire in the middle of the summer. It’s sooooo romantic.
Spend the day shopping at the outlets, antique shops, and/or local boutiques. Enjoy day trips to the wineries, Shelter Island, Greenport, Splish Splash Water Park, Atlantis Aquarium and more. Make sure to stop in and experience casual or fine dining at the many restaurants that can be found in the area. So come and enjoy a fun filled week, or two, in our family friendly summer get away.

My husband, two small children, black lab, and I all had the best time staying here. Bunk beds and TV in the kids room, beachy main bedroom for us, a bonus bedroom that we were not expecting which came in handy so family could come visit us! The kitchen while small had everything we needed to cook and really feel like we were home. The backyard was perfect for our get-togethers and for our labrador and children to enjoy. The outdoor shower was perfect to wash off the sand. We grilled and sat outside at night, enjoying the beautiful cool breeze. And the location was perfect, right near several farmstands and vineyards, and the Elbow Room for a grown up dinner! The beach was literally a stroll away, and the owners had everything you could want from bikes to boogie boards to a clam rake, a kite, i just could go on and on..... I cried when it was time to leave. We hope to return again next year. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the North Fork of Long Island in a beachy, unfussy way. It was just perfect.

We just returned from a week at this wonderful beach house. It was relaxing and full of anything you might need for a week at the shore. The deck with it's fireplace was such a wonderful treat every night. The big brick barbeque grill was awesome. Even our teenager gives this place a thumbs up!We will be returning!

We had a great time staying in this property and found this beach house to be comfortable and relaxing. The backyard is large enough for kids to run around and play sports, the swing set in the back is an added bonus, the patio is wonderful. Would definitely return. Proximity to the beach and charming neighborhood make this an ideal location

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this lovely beach house; only steps to a beautiful private bay-side beach, spacious garden and very friendly neighborhood. We would definitely recommend this house to everyone who is looking for a relaxing getaway.
