This wonderful condominium is on the hillside directly on Ocotal Beach, Costa Rica in the beautiful gated subdivision of Los Almendros. This subdivision is small with about 20 condominiums and about twelve to fourteen villas and is landscaped beautifully. There are three pools; one of which is an infinity pool and just steps from our front door. There is 24 hour security.
The condominium is furnished very tastefully and colorful and has one of the most beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean and also the fishing and diving boats moored just off the beach. There is a private balcony overlooking the beach and a hammock for those lazy days. The office staff can make all your reservations for deep sea fishing or diving, snorkeling, sailing, surfing, hot springs, volcano and canopy tours, horseback riding, rain forest trips, etc.
The Liberia Airport is only 20-25 minutes from Los Almendros and plenty of rental cars available. Public transportation also. The town of Coco is just a few minutes away offering lots of souvenirs for family and friends. Great restaurants from Playa Ocotal to Playa Hermossa. Father Rooster next door directly on the beach offers good food and great margaritas. The canopy tour is only ten to twelve miles from the condominium. There are deep-sea fishing and diving boats just off the beach. You can walk from your condominium to catch your boat each day.
The Arenal Volcano and Tabacon Hot Springs can be seen in a days visit. The rainforest at Monteverde is also a great trip. Will Abrahms, a local in Los Almendros, offers morning walks through the forests pointing out nature's beauty. Beautiful birds, monkeys, iquanas, butterflies, and coatamundi are often seen. There are just so many things to see. Enjoy your stay.

- Internet service is available. If you are without a vehicle or would rather use the services offered, the staff at Los Almendros (our complex) can arrange any sightseeing trip for you and they have a van that can take you there and back. They also offer service to town and restaurants.

- We are directly on Ocotal Beach. If you are a diver or like fishing this is the place. The dive boats and off-shore fishing boats will pick you up right there on your beach for a day of fishing, diving, sailing, snorkeling, or just sight-seeing. Our own guide to wonderful walking tours lives there in Los Almendros. Give Will a call any day and join him. Learn about the various birds, animals, and plantlife in the area. Our staff at Los Almendros can also make all the arrangements for your tours. They also have a bus to take you anywhere. There are two restaurants next door on the beach. So you never have to leave the area. Good food and great margueritas.

Why the Owner Chose Ocotal
We chose this unit while it was being built. There are only four units, and it's situated just high enough on the hillside to tower over the vegetation offering fantastic views of the Pacific and surrounding hillside. Since we have four pools in this small complex, our pool (just across the street from us) is very private. Most of the time when we are there, we are the only ones there.
The Unique Benefits of this Condominium
From our balcony and living area, we have spectacular views. We also see lots of beautiful birds in the surrounding trees. And we enjoy viewing all the activity on the water.
