This delightful cottage is nestled on a beautiful wooded lot on Lake McKissack. It is a very private gated location with nothing around you but nature. There are only two cottages on our private road.The property is less than a mile from public boat launch and about one mile to Carrabelle Beach. This is the ideal location for fishing and enjoyment of the white sands of Carrabelle Beach. There is plenty of sunning, shelling, and swimming. We have just added a new 30 foot dock on the lake for fishing and fun.

The cottage is furnished nicely and includes everything needed for your stay. There is also plenty of room for parking your boat or jet skis.

You are also only minutes to the beautiful beaches of Saint George Island or to the historic town of Apalachicola full of artistic shops, restaurants, and good seafood. The famous "Apalachicola Bay" oysters are served in most restaurants, or stop by one of the many seafood houses and pick up a bag to shuck yourself. Local seafood is abundant and so is the fishing. Great saltwater and freshwater fishing is at your doorstep.
Being a private drive, it doesn't show on the map. We are just off Airport Road which is a very short road leading to a small private airfield.

  • Less than 1/2 mile from cottage is Carrabelle Boat Club Dockominiums, Staff will put your boat in the water and when you're back from you day at sea, they can put your boat into our storage area or you can dock it there or at one of our riverfront slips, When you're ready to leave at the end of the week the staff will lift your boat out of the water and you're on your way, Fuel, ice, fish cleaning area, and carts to wheel your belongings to & from your boat are available, Or use one of our river docks at no charge.
