If spectacular ocean views and relaxing above the bay, watching birds and boats sounds inviting, then this experience is for you. The only sounds you’ll hear are waves, buoys and shore birds. Designed by Clay Johnston, this new, contemporary, upscale, whimsical home offers an interior atmosphere that is private, environmentally respectful (solar) and romantic. Get lost in it all while in the outdoor jacuzzi with ocean views.

At 2,600 sq ft., 2 of the three bedrooms and bathrooms are located upstairs.( All mattresses are queen, Tempurpedic style). In the master bath are an open slate shower and Japanese soaking tub. The first floor has an open spacious design, appointed kitchen, concrete floor and suspended fireplace orb. And if you must- the home is also equipped with wireless Internet access.

Within a few blocks you can find restaurants, the HSU Marine lab, the Beachcomber coffeehouse, a market, small shops and Katy’s (famous fish market) Smokehouse. Or walk down the hill to kayak in the same bay you see from the house, walk on another clean beach, or take a comfortable, gorgeous 50-minute loop hike around the majestic Trinidad Head. Ample, easily accessed local recreational activities include beachcombing, hiking, surfing, bicycling, bird watching and wildlife viewing. A half hour drive North takes you to the State and National Redwood Park systems with numerous enchanted walks/hikes in the ancient redwood forests, or go Jetboating on the Klamath River. **NOTE: There is a $25 additional fee per night for more than 4 people.**

  • Jetsons on the Bay is in a WONDERFULLY quaint, small town of approximately 400 people. The home is really nice with a lot of luxury's if you are use to nice things. I had to work 2 1/2 days of our 7-day vacation but it was extremely pleasant. We watched the storms roll in (first part) and when the skys cleared up, it was one of the most breath taking views I've seen in a long time. Rest, relaxation, rejuvenation, laid-back, re-balanced energy is things you will easily find in this great little getaway. Thanks a load (Mike) !!
