Our beach cottage is located in South Bethany Beach, in Bayview Park, which is right off of Route 1, one block south of McCabe's Gourmet Market and Grotto's Pizza. The neighborhood is private and is a great place to walk to the beach or ride bikes. There is a large boat dock out front and you are welcome to bring your boat or rent kayaks and dock them here. You can fish and crab off the dock- the biggest fish we ever caught in years of fishing in Assawoman Bay was right here off our dock! We are very close to the Assawoman Wildlife Refuge Park and it is common to see Herons and all kinds of birds from our home.
The home is one level- and has been recently renovated with a new kitchen, and bathrooms (ceramic tile in both). There are 3 bedrooms with a queen, double and pull out trundle bed- 2 Twins, with a max occupancy of 8. It is nicely decorated and has central air conditioning, 4 cable televisions, with a TV in each bedroom, and outside hot shower. There is a porch, which has a futon, that could occasionally be used for sleeping.
The cottage is located 5 or 6 blocks from the beach, but we have parking passes, that enable you to park across the street from the beach. Linens are not provided-Please bring your own sheets and towels. PARTIAL WEEK AVAILABLE.No Pets, No Smoking.FREE DEPARTURE CLEANING.

My wife her best friend and our godson stayed and loved the home! Close enough to a wonderful quiet beach and far enough from the crowds to give us a wonderful week to enjoy.

My husband and I have stayed at this property twice in the past year. Very clean and comfortable. Interior updated. Plenty of bedrooms. Deck leads to dock. Very quiet community with nice neighbors. Very close to bay, just get on boat and go fishing, easy access to beach. Just short walk or you are provided parking passes at beach parking. Owner responds to questions or emails daily if not immediately. Very reasonable fee in comparison to several homes we have rented.Will rent this property again.

Our family had a very enjoyable vacation and we were quite pleased with this property. It is located on the canal, with a dock that allowed us to easily drop our canoe in the water to explore the Assawoman Bay canal area. Plenty of crabs to be caught from the dock and canal - to include one that was over 7" and tasted great! The local beach, only a few minutes away, was preferred over the boardwalk beaches. Not very crowded and a nicer sand/water line. The house has an external hot/cold shower for rinsing all that sand off when returning. Very convenient. Restaurants and food shops are only a few minutes away, as well. There is a fishing store close by too, which provided the bait for catching the crabs. Downtown Bethany had a few night concerts which were fun. The house is in a private community, which was really nice. Overall, an excellent vacation location. The house has multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, televisions, fast wireless internet connection, central air conditioning, and some new appliances. The rear porch was great for playing games with the kids. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing meals. Everything at the house was in good condition and well maintained. We would definitely consider staying at this property again, and would recommend to others. The owner was very nice and easy to work with. Thanks for contributing to a fun 2010 beach vacation!
