This private pool home is locally owned and managed with several years of experience, ensuring our guests have a great vacation. The 3,000 sq ft UNDER AC is spacious and filled with luxurious touches, quality linens, comfortable furnishings, a new luxury master bathroom and newly tiled floors through out the whole house. We continually maintain and improve this home. There is a private pool in a private tropical garden. We have broadband internet and wireless access, bikes and beach chairs in the 2 car garage. A gas grill BBQ for those who like to relax at home and a well equipped kitchen for the gourmet chef.
A great location in a quiet neighborhood, with a fenced back yard. West of US 41 and within 1.5 miles of Barefoot Beach you will enjoy being well away from the traffic of Hickory Boulevard! We even have a guest beach parking permit, so you don't have to pay for parking. The best location in Bonita Springs you can walk to restaurants and Publix. We are 14 miles north of 5th Ave S.in Olde Naples, 5 miles north of Mercato shopping (Whole Foods), dining and movie theater, 5 miles south of the Coconut Point Shopping Mall. There is plenty of quality choices for local shopping and dining too. Enjoy all that Southwest Florida has to offer; The Naples Philharmonic, fine dining, nature attractions, pristine white sand beaches or just relax by your own private heated pool.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
We chose this home because of it's great location. West of 41, in a quiet cul-de-sac away from the traffic noise of Bonita Beach Road and still close to the beaches, shopping and dining. The home also has great appeal as it is spacious, very private and has an air of calm when you walk in.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Paradise Retreat is very special, it's well furnished and it has ironed sheets. We allow well behaved pets as we know how special they are. We have all the added extras like a private heated pool, broad band internet and wifi, free long distance calling and a beach parking permit worth $8 a day. There are orange, grapefuit and banana trees in the beautiful yard for you to enjoy freshly squeezed juice with breakfast, or grill plantains on the BBQ.

We've always loved travel, in fact we met in JFK airport! Bill grew up in Naples, Amanda in England, we've also lived in NY, London and Hong Kong from where we've visited many exotic places. Having visited our family here for 20 years we decided to move to Bonita in 2003, because we love the climate, the beaches and the convenience of everything without the long commuting. We bought a couple of homes to run as vacation rentals, offering the type of experience we would hope to find if we were renting a home. We live in Bonita full time and we love it!

Our first time at VRBO. We stayed for one week. We were 4 adults, and 2 little dogs, had ample space, the fenced space out back was a real treat for the dogs. the house was great had everything, and more. The neighborhood is quiet, and beautiful close to all shopping. we highly recommend this house.

We enjoyed our stay very much at Paradise Retreat. We are Floridians but needed a place to stay further South for a Convention we were attending in Estero. The house fit all of our needs. It had plenty of space and was immaculately clean. Our whole family, including the dogs, felt welcome. While we were not looking for a place near the beach, since our own home is near Anna Maria Island, we did find the location of this home surprisingly convenient to the beach. The parking pass provided made it even more convenient. Even though we were there for the convention, because of this convenience we were able to take some time and enjoy the beautiful State Parks in the area. The beach was just as beautiful as our own, and we had a great time there. The other surprise is the amount of shopping in the area. There was plenty to do and see. A great Columbian Resturanut was within walking distance. So yes, we would highly recommend this as a place to stay for your next Florida Vacation, or any other reason you need to visit the Ft. Myers area.

As other reviewers have commented, Amanda is very easy to work with and a great communicator. The house is light, bright, clean and very roomy. We appreciated the peace and quiet of the neighborhood. Sadly we had cold windy weather and were not able to enjoy the beaches, but there was plenty of shopping and so many choices for dining out. Very nice to have a Whole Foods neaby. Do take advantage of kayaking if you enjoy birding.

This is the second home we have rented from Amanda and enjoyed a second winter season in Bonita Springs. Paradise Retreat is in a quiet neighborhood and a very comfortable home. Our family joined us for 10 days and the home easily accommodated six of us (including a six year old) - kitchen is well equipped, and the large dining room is a plus. Paradise is close to beaches, shopping, and restaurants. Enjoyed the house and pool so much we will be returning in 2011! P.S. - our Havenese, Lucy loved the fenced back yard.

Paradise Retreat was a great, comfortable accomodation for our holiday family gathering! We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, a real contrast to the busy-ness of Highway 41. It was great to be so close to so many businesses- you have to visit a little store around the corner called "The Best of Everything"! The beach parking pass is a real bonus and Barefoot Beach was a great spot for walking, finding shells and having "happy hour" while watching the sunset (with a wedding for added fun for one of our visits.) Look over the photos and know that the property is just as it appears and is loaded with extras- pool and beach equipment, a stroller, portable cooler, boogie boards and too many more things to list. RSW airport in Ft. Myers is very user friendly and it was a quick trip to pick up guests.

Our first stay with VRBO and we were not disappointed! The home was lovely,spacious and Amanda had thought of everything we would need. Our kids all were able to join us - so we appreciated the large dining room, warm pool & hot tub, computer and the quiet neighborhood where we could walk to Publix or drive to beach & shopping.

This was our first time to stay at a VRBO property. My family stayed for two weeks at Paradise Retreat and had a wonderful time. The home is amazing. Spacious and all accomodation. This property is centrally located and there are many many activities and sites to see for the entire family. You will have a wonderful time if you rent this home. Amanda (owner) has thought of everything. This is truly a home away from home. Everything you would want is here for you to use. The pool is awesome. The weather was beautiful. My sister and I found this lovely gem to rent by the week in high season and it was terrific. My sister's twins loved the pool and their room. The Florida room was perfect for relaxing with the adults. The house has an amazing amount of living space that is hard to visualize without seeing it in person. We loved the location and traveled easily to Naples and other hot spots during our stay. Amanda was lovely and professional. A great time was had by all!

Perfect location and exceptional facility. We stayed for a month and are already anticipating our return visits for increasing lengths of time. Centrally located to everything and anything one would wish to visit and enjoy while in southwest Florida, Amanda runs a tight operation with attention to detail and provides all that she promises. The adage that 'one gets what one pays for' certainly applies here and is worth every penny. The fact that our pet could comfortably accompany us was a determining factor to this property being chosen and the quiet peaceful neighborhood is wonderful for pleasant walks. We found the neighbors to be friendly and welcoming and the home to be cleverly landscaped to provide appropriate privacy in the pool areas. This holiday warrants a 'well done and see you again soon Amanda'.
