Had an absolutely wonderful stay for my son's wedding. House was beautiful and there was plenty of room for us. Also was wonderful for our dog, Rocky. There were ample towels for beach and house and the beach was great,. Everything was very close and convenient. Also Amanda checked in with us to make sure all was going well. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.

We spent 18 days in this lovely spacious home. It had absolutely everything we could want, very clean, plenty of beach equipment and plenty of space for all 6 adults and 2 children! We would definately recommend staying here.

Lovely getaway

Our group had people from 6 months to 78 years old and we all had a wonderful time. The house is great, very spacious, well maintained and nicely decorated. It also has available every convenience you could think of. The pool seemed smaller than what it looks on the pictures but very nice and clean and properly heated. The neighborhood very quiet and the beach close enough. I would definitely recommend this property for a family vacation.

this summer was our 4th time at Amanda's and have already reserved again for 2013. Paradise serves us as a summer retreat for the whole family. The house is a home, spacious, clean with regular upgrades, well managed, close to excellent beaches, shopping complexes that even men can like, close to beautiful Naples. The entire setup is a happy experience for everybody. We are looking foreard to our next visit.

Our first time at VRBO. We stayed for one week. We were 4 adults, and 2 little dogs, had ample space, the fenced space out back was a real treat for the dogs. the house was great had everything, and more. The neighborhood is quiet, and beautiful close to all shopping. we highly recommend this house.

We enjoyed our stay very much at Paradise Retreat. We are Floridians but needed a place to stay further South for a Convention we were attending in Estero. The house fit all of our needs. It had plenty of space and was immaculately clean. Our whole family, including the dogs, felt welcome. While we were not looking for a place near the beach, since our own home is near Anna Maria Island, we did find the location of this home surprisingly convenient to the beach. The parking pass provided made it even more convenient. Even though we were there for the convention, because of this convenience we were able to take some time and enjoy the beautiful State Parks in the area. The beach was just as beautiful as our own, and we had a great time there. The other surprise is the amount of shopping in the area. There was plenty to do and see. A great Columbian Resturanut was within walking distance. So yes, we would highly recommend this as a place to stay for your next Florida Vacation, or any other reason you need to visit the Ft. Myers area.

As other reviewers have commented, Amanda is very easy to work with and a great communicator. The house is light, bright, clean and very roomy. We appreciated the peace and quiet of the neighborhood. Sadly we had cold windy weather and were not able to enjoy the beaches, but there was plenty of shopping and so many choices for dining out. Very nice to have a Whole Foods neaby. Do take advantage of kayaking if you enjoy birding.

Paradise Retreat

This is the second home we have rented from Amanda and enjoyed a second winter season in Bonita Springs. Paradise Retreat is in a quiet neighborhood and a very comfortable home. Our family joined us for 10 days and the home easily accommodated six of us (including a six year old) - kitchen is well equipped, and the large dining room is a plus. Paradise is close to beaches, shopping, and restaurants. Enjoyed the house and pool so much we will be returning in 2011! P.S. - our Havenese, Lucy loved the fenced back yard.

Paradise Retreat was a great, comfortable accomodation for our holiday family gathering! We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, a real contrast to the busy-ness of Highway 41. It was great to be so close to so many businesses- you have to visit a little store around the corner called "The Best of Everything"! The beach parking pass is a real bonus and Barefoot Beach was a great spot for walking, finding shells and having "happy hour" while watching the sunset (with a wedding for added fun for one of our visits.) Look over the photos and know that the property is just as it appears and is loaded with extras- pool and beach equipment, a stroller, portable cooler, boogie boards and too many more things to list. RSW airport in Ft. Myers is very user friendly and it was a quick trip to pick up guests.

Our first stay with VRBO and we were not disappointed! The home was lovely,spacious and Amanda had thought of everything we would need. Our kids all were able to join us - so we appreciated the large dining room, warm pool & hot tub, computer and the quiet neighborhood where we could walk to Publix or drive to beach & shopping.

This was our first time to stay at a VRBO property. My family stayed for two weeks at Paradise Retreat and had a wonderful time. The home is amazing. Spacious and all accomodation. This property is centrally located and there are many many activities and sites to see for the entire family. You will have a wonderful time if you rent this home. Amanda (owner) has thought of everything. This is truly a home away from home. Everything you would want is here for you to use. The pool is awesome. The weather was beautiful. The neighbor is quiet and so peaceful. We will be back. Thanks Amanda

My sister and I found this lovely gem to rent by the week in high season and it was terrific. My sister's twins loved the pool and their room. The Florida room was perfect for relaxing with the adults. The house has an amazing amount of living space that is hard to visualize without seeing it in person. We loved the location and traveled easily to Naples and other hot spots during our stay. Amanda was lovely and professional. A great time was had by all!

Perfect location and exceptional facility. We stayed for a month and are already anticipating our return visits for increasing lengths of time. Centrally located to everything and anything one would wish to visit and enjoy while in southwest Florida, Amanda runs a tight operation with attention to detail and provides all that she promises. The adage that 'one gets what one pays for' certainly applies here and is worth every penny. The fact that our pet could comfortably accompany us was a determining factor to this property being chosen and the quiet peaceful neighborhood is wonderful for pleasant walks. We found the neighbors to be friendly and welcoming and the home to be cleverly landscaped to provide appropriate privacy in the pool areas. This holiday warrants a 'well done and see you again soon Amanda'.

My husband and I recently stayed in Amanda's "Paradise Retreat". We had previously stayed in one of her other properties, so we knew we would find this to be every bit as nice as the description. We were not disappointed! This is a lovely home with plenty of room, comfortably furnished and with all the conveniences one might desire. We would highly recommend this home as your next vacation retreat!

My wife, Son and his best friend and I have stayed at Amanda's Bonita Springs Paradise Retreat property just before Christmas 2008. The description on the website doesn't give justice to the property as far exceeds the description as her home is fully equipped with everything needed for a great relaxing vacation including bikes and a beach pass which was very useful. It is in a quite location with easy access to local stores and restaurants. The pool was heated for this period which was great and is it is completely private. Amanda has also been very supportive throughout my stay which has been very comforting. If you are considering a vacation in the Bonita Springs area and considering renting this property, this property will not disappoint you.

We had the pleasure of using this lovely home the week our daughter was getting married. It was most convenient to shops, restaurants, and other necessary places for our event. The fact that we could bring our pets meant so much to our family members that came in to join us at the house. The house was beautiful, large, and fun to be in. I would highly recommend a stay, but only if you want to be pampered.

My wife and I have stayed in all of Amanda's Bonita Springs properties including the Paradise Retreat during the Christmas and NewYear period '07/'08. We have always enjoyed our stay and we continue to return. The description on the website is accurate and the home is fully equiped with everything needed for a great relaxing vacation. The kitchen has new appliances and all furnishings are clean and modern. The pool area is professionally serviced and completely private. The neighborhood is very convenient to shopping, beaches and entertainment; it is also well kept, quiet and safe. If you are considering a vacation at this property, you will not be disappointed. We have been staying on Sanibel/Captiva for 25 years. We discovered Barefoot Beach 3 years ago and decided to try a place near Barefoot Beach. WHAT A FIND!!! The house exceeded our expectations. Our grandchildren live in the area and spent the week with us. They loved the pool. Our son visited from CT for 3 days and our daughter from TN also visited for 3 days. Our Weimaraner, Jessie made the trip with us. The floorplan accomadated all of us, the yard was great, dead-end street allowed the kids to ride their bikes. The plants/flowers were wonderful, I just wish it has been Jan and we could have enjoyed the oranges, the trees were full. We had company and cooked out on the grill. The kitchen was exceptional, we did some baking and everything was there. We had a great time taking Jessie and the grandchildren to the beach. Close to shopping and movies. Minature golf was a big hit. Plenty of towels and beach towels for the pool, nice linens. Pool and sand toys. Since we were on a working vacation the internet was great. It was a perfect house for a family but we would also go back as a couple & Jessie of course. Amanda and her husband were teriffic and gave us info on dog freindly activities. We had such a good time we stayed an extra day!!! I would have stayed forever........

What a great vacation! We took a mini-vacation close to our relative's home for a week, and we couldn't have been more pleased with our experience.We particularly enjoyed the gourmet kitchen with the sets of dishes for the pool and kids. Also, it was a treat to bring our dog and feel that she was welcome. Amanda even gave us directions to the dog beach. I would recommend this home to anyone. Deanna Huhes and family

Thank you Amanda! We rented this home in April of 2008. The home is nicely decorated and very spacious. Our 5 kids loved the home, and they could do their own thing without being cramped like if we were in a hotel room. The pool was great and refreshing! It is a nice walk to shopping, but in a very quiet area. The home had everything we needed, and the grill was a nice touch, too. I would recommend this home and the owners to anyone!

We enjoyed this home the months of Jan. and Feb. 2008. The owner was most gracious and saw to every need we might have. This is a well kept and comfortable home. It is close to groceries, retail stores, parks, beaches and many entertainments. You can't miss with this home. Our two dogs loved it too.
