Beautiful ocean views and right across the street from the beach!
Beautifully decorated, 5 bedroom, 5.5 bath home, that you will not want to leave! Every bedroom has it's own TV and DVD and/or VCR player. The reverse floor plan has 2 living rooms, one on each level with a big TV in each. There is a childrens book, video, and game library for your childrens enjoyment, when they are not enjoying the gorgeous beach or beautiful pool. There are incredible double decks on both sides of the house so you can fully enjoy the awesome ocean views on one side and the marsh views on the other. Each bedroom opens onto a deck, with rocking chairs, to relax and enjoy the scenery.
The upstairs kitchen is huge with gorgeous, porcelain countertops, a breakfast bar with six barstools, huge dining table with 10 chairs, and 2 tables on the outside deck for outdoor eating. The upstairs living room has a 37 inch flat screen TV, and a half bath. Windows are everywhere, to enjoy the great views and to make the house bright and cheery.
The downstairs family room has a wet bar, with mini-refrigerator, large screen TV, stereo, and lots of windows to enjoy the beautiful views. There is a full size laundry room on this floor with an extra large washer, dryer, and an ironing board.
Along with the beautiful, fenced, private pool outside, there is also an enclosed outdoor shower, with hot and cold waterand a changing room adjacent.
Each bedroom has it's own private bathroom with a tub and shower combination in each. The downstairs bedrooms are set up with 1 King and 4 Double beds. The upstairs bedrooms are set up with 1 King and 2 sets of twin bunk beds.
There is a beach wagon, and a large box of pool and beach toys available for your enjoyment.

We built this house in 2005 and love coming to enjoy it as much as we can. We live in Atlanta, GA and eventually plan to retire to the wonderful community of Ocean Isle.

Great place for family vacation

Our extended family (my husband & kids, my husband's sisters and their families along with some friends) stayed here July 23-30. We were a group of 13, so we pretty much filled the house, but there was plenty of space to 'get away' if we wanted to--having 2 living areas was nice, because we brought a Wii, so the kids (and occasionally the adults) could play while the others were in the other living area or at the pool. There was an entire closet full of games, books and videos, too. The entire place was very clean,& well kept, and although we never saw any pool care being done, the water stayed clear all week, and this pool got a LOT of use. There is lots of deck space on both sides of the house, and plenty of seating available at the pool, along with beach chairs. One deck rocking chair was broken when we arrived, and the decks would be nicer if there were some more occasional tables--there was a dining table on one deck and a couple of tables on the smaller decks on the street side--but these are minor complaints. Having the linens furnished and the beds made was lovely--there was also a box provided with some snacks, and some bottled water in the refrigerator. Our only dissatisfaction was with the charcoal grill--it was very small for a house meant to hold up to 16 people. We had already made plans for a cookout to celebrate a birthday, and it took forever to cook the burgers and hot dogs. Overall, a lovely week, a very nice house, and we would certainly consider this house again.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
