Welcome to the rustically elegant Log Cabin at Long Lake. Located on the "Walleye Capital of Wisconsin", one of the most sought after lakes in NW Wisconsin, the cabin is conveniently situated between Spooner and Hayward. The cabin is nestled amongst tall pines in a very private area, where you can enjoy a panoramic view and a breathtaking sunrise over the lake from two decks at the cabin and a deck at lakeside. The cabin was fully remodeled in early 2006 and offers that true Northwoods experience with all the amenities you've come to expect. The cabin's open floor plan provides two new queen size beds (one on the main floor, one in the loft), a day bed in the loft, kitchen, dining area, living room and a large bathroom.
The property has 200 feet of private sandy lake shore frontage on the north end of Long Lake, and has a sandy beach area at the dock. The property consists of about 2 acres, giving privacy and areas for the kids to explore.

- Long Lake, the Walleye Capital of Wisconsin, is 3,300 acres in size. Known for its walleye, pike, bass, and perch fishing, Long Lake is also home to several on- and off-water restaurants and bars. The lake is clear and provides great swimming, tubing and water skiing. Stone Lake, home of the Cranberry Festival, is only a 5 minute drive, Hayward is conveniently located about 25 minutes away. Golf courses and other recreational opportunities are close by. Washburn County Forest Land is located across the road and contributes to the hundreds of miles of trails available for hiking and mountain biking. The cabin is located on the north end of Long Lake where you are able to enjoy water activities, the wildlife, and the sheer beauty of the lake. Loons are everywhere and you can see an eagle's nest just 100 yards away at the water's edge. A nearby artesian well offers continuous crystal clear drinking water--great to enjoy while on a bike ride or to enjoy at the cabin.

Our family had a great time. The cabin is awesome and we felt right at home and very comfortable. The lake is beautiful with great fishing, even right off the dock. We woke every morning to loon calls and had the joy of watching them swim and eagles fly. We hope to come back again and are sad to leave today. Our thoughts are full with great memories of Long Lake. Blessings, Mike, Leslie, Logan, Benjamin and Joseph.

Had a fabulous vacation and loved the cozy Log Cabin, Long Lake and surrounding area. The ATV trails are beautiful and go on forever! Also, we cannot believe the # of loons and eagles on the lake. Did lots of fishing, caught a 6 & 8 lb. northern, 2 lb. bass and 4 lb. walleye off the dock (can't beat that!). We released all and hope to catch bigger ones on our next visit. We enjoyed the dock and the boat lift and cover is a big plus. Thank you for the wonderful accommodations and we will be back.
