Located 10 minutes from Lahaina, between Kaanapali and Kapalua Golf Resorts & Beaches. This well appointed 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath condominium is the perfect getaway for the two of you!
Hale Mahina is a small low rise beachfront paradise only 25 feet from the beach. We have our own sandy beach with a view west with Molokai to the right and Lanai to the left. Relax on the deck and enjoy the stunning sunsets or watch for whales.
Whether you want to enjoy sitting on the grass, swimming in the pool, relaxing in the hot tub or swimming in the ocean -- it's all right outside your doorway!
A grocery store and restaurants are located within a one mile radius -- an easy and enjoyable stroll. Kaanapali & Whalers Village are 6 minutes South by car. Lahaina is 10 minutes south. Kapalua is 6 minutes north.
For golfers, the world class courses at Kapalua, including the Plantation course, home of the Hyundai championship and the new Kapalua Golf Academy is 6 miles north.
Hale Mahina is our second home. The bed is a California king size with down filled pillows. As of December 2011 the exterior of Hale Mahina has been repainted. The interior living room of A305 has been updated as well as of December 2011 with new paint, and flat screen TV, and new bed linens for the bedroom. This is truly a vacation spot where you can feel relaxed and at ease. The giant green sea turtles are out front every morning or afternoon. Every once in awhile we get a monk seal on the beach & of course grey whales out front during the whale season.

Why the Owner Chose Honokowai
Our family has been vacationing at Hale Mahina for the past eight years. This is truly a special complex in which every unit is oceanfront! To hear the sounds of the surf from the lanai and livingroom makes this place truly relaxing. The pool situated in such a location to be able to see the ocean makes for great views whether taking a dip or relaxing in the hot tub. We had stayed in several complexes in Maui prior to our discovery of Hale Mahina, yet once we found this unique place, there was no where else we'd rather stay when in Maui!

Late Honeymoon and first time to Hawaii Success!

My husband and I were both very happy that we picked Hale Mahina among all the properties available in Maui. It was a great home away from home while we explored and relaxed during our special time away together. The property is in a great location and was so quiet and private yet not far away from the action. The view from this unit was spectacular. It was so welcoming everyday after playing on the beach to come back to the calming sound of the ocean waves and the sights of sea turtles eating in the surf. We traveled in January and viewed several whales from the Lanai as well as the amazing experience of swimming with spinner dolphins at the nearby cove, Fleming Beach. The condo had all we needed and was very comfortable. I am a very light sleeper and was awoken a few times over the week by voices or noises from the street as the windows were open in the bedroom. But my husband never noticed and overall we slept quite comfortably. Ann was so very helpful with everything and gave us great information on how to save money and explore the area for whatever mood or budget we had. I hope we are able to visit again and would seriously consider renting this unit again. We met a couple of the owners who lived there year around as well as few were vacationing and everyone was beyond lovely. We visited a different beach/area everyday and continued to agree we were very happy with our choice to stay at Hale Mahina, away from the large, noisy and busy properties in the nearby areas. We chose to buy food and pack lunches and eat most meals at the condo to save money. The kitchen was well equipped and the BBQ's were burning each night so that we could throw on the steaks and pineapple, taking turns with others. I did look at a different unit there that was having an open house in Building B and my comment there is that the Lanai is quite private in this unit. The privacy was nice while trying to enjoy a lazy breakfast or a romantic dinner. I think you will find that Ann will go over and beyond to make your experience all that she can.
