This authentic West Shore cabin has been updated with modern amenities... it is cozy, quaint, comfy, and fun. No worries for you city dweller types... it has the charm from the turn of the century mountain, lake times with the comforts of modern day living.
In the Summer months, escape to the great Tahoe outdoors and lounge in a hammock under the trees and stars while making smores in the outdoor fireplace or play a game of horseshoes or ping pong in the backyard.
A county maintained park is less than half mile down the road and has two lighted tennis courts, children's playground, and sand volleyball court! Walk to Sunnyside or Firesign for a wonderful meal.
In the Winter snowshoeing, Alpine and cross country skiing are very close by. Homewood Mountain is approx. 2 miles, the back side of Alpine Meadows and the new Sherwood Chairlift is approx 2 miles up Ward Canyon, the entrance to the front side of Alpine Meadows is 7 miles and the entrance to Squaw Valley USA is 8 miles. One block away there is also a weekend shuttle to the back side of Alpine that drops you off at the Sherwood Chair. A great way to avoid traffic on busy weekends!
