PORTOFINO is the ultimate luxury destination on the entire Gulf coast. Our Condo is in tower V which has just been finished (May 2006) and is fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy your time at the beach. When staying at Portofino, you need to understand which views you will get. This is a fabulous uninterrupted view of the Gulf. If this is booked, please ask about my other great VRBO properties.
There are only 36 2 bedroom units at Portofino which are on the Gulf and have UNINTERRUPTED VIEWS OF THE BEACH to the west and the sunset. This unit is one of them. When renting a Portofino, make sure you know where your unit is because the views differ greatly. PORTOFINO has many amenities which are yours to enjoy for free while you are here.
You will use the FULLY EQUIPPED GYM which just may be the NICEST IN THE WORLD, and overlooks the outdoor infinity pools and Santa Rosa Sound. Classes available at extra charge.
Enjoy playing on five Rubico and LIGHTED TENNIS COURTS. ( court fees apply)Lessons available at extra charge.
Swim in any of the 8 on-site HEATED pools and hot tubs.
Relax in the Portofino Spa with wet and dry sauna (treatments extra) with massage therapy, body treatments, and facials.
PORTOFINO is located on the Gulf of Mexico on the eastern end of Pensacola Beach, Florida. It is an easy 25 minute drive from Pensacola International Airport (PNS) and 15 minutes from downtown Pensacola.
Our condominium is located in Tower Five , on the sixth floor. It has been professionally decorated and features nine-foot ceilings throughout. The entrance has eight-foot-wide double doors opening onto oversized ceramic tile flooring throughout the living area, kitchen, and baths. There are high speed internet connections at various locations in the unit. BRING YOUR LAPTOP.
As you stand in the kitchen or living area you can see the clear blue Gulf of Mexico. The 28 foot balcony off the living area and both bedrooms allows for spectacular views, including a direct view of the pure white sand beach, the sunset and the intercoastal waterway.
The master bedroom has a true KING SIZE BED and the 2nd bedroom has two full-size beds. Sure it is a little cramped but it beats the heck out of sleeping on the typical sofa bed. I do have the typical sofa bed as well in the livingroom.
Full-size washer and dryer are in the Condo for use.
There is an outdoor electric grill for your use.
There are 4 beach chairs which you are welcome to take to the beach.
We live in the area and frequently use the unit for our own use so it is equipped with everything you need. Just bring your suntan lotion, beach towels and food.
All counter tops are granite and the ceiling is smooth with luxurious furnishings reminiscent of the finest five star hotels.
Twenty-nine movies are available for viewing in the unit with a nice tasteful selection for both adults and children. TV's are in each bedroom and a 35" TV is in the livingroom.
Unfortunately, boats and motorcycles are not allowed on the property. You will have to store them off-site.
Add a $75 cleaning fee and $80 amenity fees and 11.5% tax to the prices. My price does NOT include the Portofino beach chairs or the Portofino boat. Beach chairs are available in the unit and you are welcome to take them to the beach.
This is a NO SMOKING UNIT.
There is a 2 night minimum stay year round and a 6 night minimum in Jun and Jul unless I can fit you in between two other reservations .
When you arrive here you will know you have found Paradise and when you leave you will be planning your next trip.
Please note, I have 2 condos in Portofino and do NOT update my calendar until all are rented for a certain time period. That way, I can offer you a different unit if this one is booked.

We are not so much beach people, so having a comfortable apartment with lovely furnishings, beautiful views, a fully equipped kitchen (nothing skimped on there), and a washer-dryer made it a real vacation for us. (The linens, especially, will make you feel like you're living in the lap of luxury - i'm a sucker for those things.) The kids loved the pool, and the beaches of course are beautiful. Mr. Moran was responsive and helpful. If you go to this area though, watch your speed - says the family who got stopped for going 31 in a school zone in which the "slow down lights" were supposedly activated making the speed limit 20 - but actually weren't flashing at all. Saw other people pulled over presumably for the same infraction. But, the cops know us tourist suckers won't go to court a month later, so there goes $300. Our donation toward the tarball cleanup effort, I suppose.

Our family retreat at Mike's condo was delightful. We found the condo to be everything we hoped for--comfortable, convenient, relaxing, beautifully decorated and well-maintained. Of course, Porto Fino is spectacular, as is the beach. Thanks, Mike, for making the business arrangements hassle-free, which helped us have a pleasant and memorable family getaway.

We spent the Christmas holdiay enjoying the white beaches of Pensacola and enjoyed staying in this unit with gorgeous views of the Gulf. It was very spacious for the four of us and plenty of room for visitors (we have family in the area). We loved it and would plan to stay again when the opportunity arises. Spent last weekend at Mike's condo and we had a great time. The whole Portifino complex is excellent and this condo is even better. Great gulf views, right next to the beach, close to everything at Pensacola Beach, and the condo itself was amazing. Couldn't have been better, thanks again Mike. -Scott Raley
