I rented the house for a long weekend for a girlfriend's wedding, and had a great experience. Perfect location, close to the beach and town, and even cozier than it appears online. Jackie was responsive to all questions and easy to work with.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers.

We had a wonderful weeklong vacation at this very lovely, clean and comfortable house. Everything was perfect: the well stocked kitchen, comfortable, spacious bedrooms with fresh linens, great deck and grill, location (short walk to the beach and village center). We had nice experience with very helpful owner Jackie. Thanks so much for a great family holiday. The house is clean, well maintained and well located. Comfortably slept several of us. Short walk to Montauk town and the beach and easy to find. Owner is very responsive and nice. Would stay again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children.

We couldn't have been happier with our experience. The house was well kept, close to the beach and walking distance to the village, and met our needs perfectly. We had a great time while renting this house for July 4th weekend. Before arriving Jackie answered all our questions. The house was clean and ready for us at arrival and towels and linens were provided which was great. The backyard is not huge but it's enough room to bbq, sit around a table, and hang out after a day at the beach. The town and beaches were both a quick walk as well which makes this house a great deal if you don't have a car and even though we did have one we decided to walk to town instead of driving a few times. Hoping to come back and stay here again next year.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My friends and I spent an amazing long girl's weekend here. The home was lovely and well-maintained, with fresh-bed linens and bath towels provided and a kitchen stocked with all the cooking utensils we could need. There was plenty of room to park and a grill out back, but the best feature of the house was its location, a short walking distance to the beach and the town. The owner was helpful and upfront throughout the process, and even suggested some local attractions (like gosmans dock to buy fish) that made the weekend even more fun. I would recommend it to all, and I only hope I get to stay here again one day!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This house in Montauk was perfect for the six of us. When we arrived, the house was spotless and all of the beds were made. It is so nice to rent a house where the linens and the towels are provided. The house is located walking distance to the beach and the town. Not having a washer and dryer was not a problem as there is a laundromat in town with drop-off service. About the owner: This home is actually my mother's home and where I grew up as a young girl. We now live in the beautiful Rocky Mountains, but still maintain this fantastic 2nd home. The inside has a very European feel with Italian tile and multi-level design.

The Unique Benefits at this House:
A favorite of mine is visiting the docks and fish markets. If you enjoy deep sea fishing - there's a lot of it! Morning walks on the beach and beach combing is very fun for kids (young and old). If your kids are smaller - you may want to consider East Lake where the water is tame and there is plenty of fun for the whole family too.
