  We were looking for a place in the West Village and found this apartment on Homeaway. We were very pleased with the apartment. It was comfortable and located in a quaint neighborhood. The owner was very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

  this is a well-apointed studio in the heart of the Greewich Village(West). Perfectly clean, well-equipped kitchen (the coffee-lovers will find a brand new coffee grinder - a rarety in rental world) one lacks nothing for a nice stay. The appartment is perfect for a couple but it can accomodate a larger party since in the living part it has a sofa which can be transformed in a double bed. The owner is extremely helpful and friendly. The appartment is excelent for either exploring the Greenvich village (and the rest of NY) or live there as a native. We had an wonderful time and highly recommend it.

  My wife, son, daughter-in-law, granddaughter, and I spent time there in March and were thoroughly satisfied. It is snug, but sufficient and the location was the best (a block from the Sex in the City front stoop). Owner Ram was very accommodating. He arranged to drop off the keys in advance at our daughter's shop for our convenience. When we mentioned we were surprised there was no microwave and the apt seemed cold in the front room, he promptly brought over a new microwave and space heater. We didn't need the heater since we just hadn't seen the radiator knob to turn.. The apt was clean, but for whatever reason, one of our party did a lot of sneezing there. Of course, the building is over 100 years old, which is part of its charm. The bedding didn't include twin sheets, just full-sized ones that we could find for the twin-sized pullout trundle bed, but we were happy with our stay and would stay there again. In fact we are thinking of staying there again in the near future. Would recommend L'Arte del Gelato, the Original Sandwich Shop, and especially, Uncle Funky's Longboard Shop.

  We visited for NYE and it could not be better. Great location close to very nice shops and restaurants and really close to a couple of subway stations which allow you to access the whole city. The apartment was really clean and all amenities working. The space was more than enough for 3 guys and their baggage. I definitely recommend this option.

  The apartment certainly lived up to its description and more! The location could not have been more perfect for us. Subway close by and the river just 2 blocks away to go to for a lovely walk- complete contrast to the non stop activity in the centre of Manhattan. We were met by the owner who had been very patient as we had a long delay and he could not have been more helpful. The apartment was clean and well maintained and had everything we needed.The main bed and bed settee and bedding were all very comfortable and made for a great nights sleep.We would certainly recommend this property to friends and relatives and if we are lucky enough to visit NY again would not hesitate in booking this apartment. Wonderful local shops, good places to eat and drink and a great chocolate shop not too far away at all! THANKS.

  The apartment is small, but there is really everything you need if staying for a few days in New York city. The neighbourhood is so "Sex and the City". When we were there all trees were just in bloom, so the brick buildings looked especially nice. If you like to do sightseeing but also enjoy going out in the evening in the West Village, Greenwich Village, Chelsea etc. you could not ask for a better place to stay, because many nice cafés, restaurants, shops, jazz clubs etc. are in walking distance, which is very nice especially coming home late at night. We thought we would use the kitchen to prepare breakfast, but also at that time of day there were so many nice options around the apartment, that we went to different ones every morning. The subway is also not far away, so you can reach any place in Manhattan and surroundings real quick. Ram, the owner, is very friendly and flexible. He checked back on us after a few days, but there was really nothing we needed and could have improved. So we will definitely recommend the apartment to other people and hopefully come back ourselves.
