Not the value I expected for the cost

Overall, we enjoyed our stay in this home, but I had to get over several disappointing things first. When we arrived, we had to call the management company to fix the broken washing machine and sharp tacks that were sticking up through the carpet near the bathroom, as those were critical issues for us. Also, a shelf was missing from the refrigerator (we didn't ask them to fix that as we could easily put our food in other places without it), a knob was missing from one of the dressers, and the 2 bikes which I was really excited about riding were non-functional (one was missing the brake pads, the other squealed so loudly I would have woken up the entire neighborhood going anywhere). They said they would see about fixing the bikes, but they never did it. I was also disappointed that there was no video game system or video games, and no family board games, either. Curtis did tell me that before I made my payment, however, but the ad needs to be updated to reflect reality. Other than that, the house itself is nice, the kitchen had the basics in it we needed (except no measuring spoons and only one measuring cup), we enjoyed using the BBQ grill, and the pool was fabulous for our 4 kids aged 2 - 6. The house was clean (though starting to show some wear in the carpet) and spacious. You can only *barely* see the fireworks that the ad mentions. The pool table was fun to use, but it is dim and stuffy in there without opening the garage door, which lets in the bugs (and I suppose the heat would be bad at different times of the year, but it was cool enough for us in April). We were glad to have a highchair provided since the casual table in the kitchen wasn't big enough to seat our whole family, so the highchair worked nicely. The community is really fun! We loved the playground with the chess board and my kids had never played on a merry-go-round before, so that was fun, too. The community pool and slide were nice, too, though we used them much less than I thought we would, so next time I rent a place I won't choose a place putting such heavy emphasis on the community amenities. For the price we paid (even at a discounted rate), I expected more value for my money. Specifically, better maintenance of the home, and more "niceties" inside to help entertain the kids during the times we weren't going out to see the attractions. This is the first time I have ever rented a vacation home, though, so maybe I was just expecting too much.

This house was beautiful! Very well maintained and convenient. My family can't wait to come back to Florida and stay here. The neighborhood is extremely close to Disney and all the restaurants. The pool was a bonus for the kids as well as the hot tub for the adults! Curtis made the rental process seamless - very professional and reliable. Thank you Curtis!

We had a great visit to Orlando. The house was great and just as promised. The kids loved the pool in the backyard and spent every spare moment swimming. We had 5 kids and 6 adults and the 6 bedrooms were great allowing each kid to have his/her own bed. The kids also loved having a TV and DVD player in their rooms (a treat for them since we don't allow this at home). The furniture in the house was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans, etc. We had one very minor issue with a toilet and to my surprise someone was there to fix it in about 30 minutes. Wow. Now that is service. Thanks for a great stay!

Thank You Curtis I and my Family found your home to be fabulous from the moment we arrived and you were great to work with. We have had family vacations each year for the last approx 20 years. Of all the homes I have reviewed and rented during this time, your home ranks in the very top one or two. I hope to return in the next three or four years and would be checking with you immediately. We had the pleasure of staying in your home 11/22/08 thru 12/6/08. the house was simply beautiful, the pool was amazing, we never thought we be swimming in the month of December. Only regret was that we had to go home. We will see you next year for 3 weeks!!!!

We enjoyed our week at this beautiful home. The pool was so convenient, we hated to leave the house. Disney was very close, shopping and restaurants were close also. We would rent it again .

Hi Curtis!Yes, we’re back at it in not-so-sunny Indianapolis! We wish we were still sitting by your pool! We really enjoyed our stay. Your home is absolutely lovely, and the pool was a big hit with the kids. They were happier playing in the pool than visiting the Disney parks! Thanks so much for making our stay so comfortable. My parents really appreciated that you left a couple of lights on and provided cold drinks in the fridge. That was very thoughtful. Thanks for everything! We hope to be back sometime in the future!

We have just returned home are are enjoying many fond memories of our trip to Florida and your beautiful home. I can't tell you how wonderful it was for us--you and Sherry are such gracious hosts. You went above and beyond our expectations to make us feel welcome and we can't thank you enough. It may well be the only time we will have all three of our children and their children all together for a vacation so it was so very special. The kids loved the pool and the amenities at the Windsor Hill clubhouse were terrific. We have already given the house details to some friends who are planning a combined family trip in the next year or so and we will not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who asks. Thanks again for a very special memory. The grandkids are already asking if we can go back to that house.

This was our first "Family" vacation with Jeff's kids and we couldn't have done better! Upon arrival we just knew that it was going to be an incredible vacation. The children ages 11-14 3 boys 1 girl were so impressed with the house! It is immaculate and beautifully decorated. It was a big hit and would definately recommend renting from them. Oh, on a business note I had just opened my 2nd company and wireless internet was my main concern. The owners made sure that everything was up and running before our arrival. Perfect vacation rental! Made us almost forgot that one of the kids got the flu.

our vacation at the vacation home in may2007 was great the pool heat was extra hot the beds was very cozy it was a nice experience at the home.

Fantastic place to stay, no complaints. Home is very clean and well furnished. We had lots of room for 6 adults and 7 kids. Location to Disney, etc. is very convenient. Lots to do within the resort itself for teenagers. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was beautiful - nicely furnished and very well kept. We recently enjoyed a week in the house with two other families - 13 people in total (6 adults and 7 children ranging from 10 to 18 years of age). There was plenty of room and the kids took full advantage of the resort amenities. The owner even gave us Thursday passes to the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Great home and awesome vacation. I can't wait to start planning next year.

I recently stayed here with some friends and business associates. I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality and convenience of the accommodations for the rate that we paid. This was definitely a bargain. I really can't think of any negatives. The house was very well furnished, clean, quiet and conveniently located to just about everything one could possibly need. My only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. I definitely plan on coming back in the near future when I have more time.

I absolutely loved this house. The decorating is lovely and I felt like I was on a 5 star vacation. I would definitely recommend this house for anyone traveling to Orlando!
