  I chose this condo because of the beautiful pictures in the listing. I was not disappointed. I love the overall color scheme, the tasteful design and the spacious layout of the condo. There are no words to describe the views of the aquamarine turquoise waters that are breath taking, therapeutic, and together with the comfortable surroundings of the condo creates a great romantic get-a-way. Cheri thought of everything. We also found great support from the condo's caretaker. The location is perfect, we could see the marina, St. John and the most beautiful sunset in the Caribbean. It's been over two months and a comfortable warm and fuzzy smile appears every time I think of our stay there. Book and enjoy!

  Wow. I don't really want to share how' wonderful our experience was at this condo, in fear that it will never be available again when we want to book!! My family and I have vacationed at Sapphire Beach Resort numerous times, but this was our first time in Cheri's unit. It is, BY FAR, the most beautiful, peaceful, and comfortable condo we have stayed in at SBR. They have thought of everything, And, just when you realize you have forgotten something (sunblock, beach toys, a little vodka for a martini, etc.) you find it there in the condo! My husband and I took our two boys, and it was perfect for the four of us, but it could fit 6 comfortable with the two pull-outs. Words cannot describe the views and luxurious seating on the patios. It is like you are on an island all alone (which is why it would also be great for a romantic getaway). It is the little details, like relaxing candles, in dramatic glass vases, that protect them from the ocean breezes. Lots of cozy blankets, a zillion towels, comfortable beds, a beautiful kitchen (which, believe me, is unlike ANYTHING else you will find in SBR), and everything you would need to make a home cooked meal, if you don't want to go out. We never ate out (even though Cheri provided plenty of information on restaurants, in a cool guide she put together). Why leave the heavenly veranda with plenty of seating for everyone. The local market in Red Hook is EXTREMELY overpriced. So stop somewhere on the way from the airport to pick up your food supplies. We actually bring most of our stuff, and just get our fresh foods (veggies, eggs, milk) at the little market in Red Hook. Red Hook is walk able (about 10 mins walk from SBR), but I wouldn't advise it at night, if you have kids. The road is a little dark and windy...but fine for adults. There is a trolley you can catch as well, for like 50 cents. Cabs are readily available at the "lobby", if you don't have a rental car. I will have to agree with some of the other reviews that say that the amenities are not 5 star. But, if you even have time to think about the very few negative things, like the lack of a proper restaurant on property, then you probably are staying in the wrong condo, or you are nuts. If you haven't been to SBR, you are missing out on a best kept secret. It is paradise. And we live in Florida, so we have nice beaches everywhere! This is different, and so is this unit. If it is available, reserve it!! It;s amazing. Thanks Cheri!

  This one (large) bedroom condo is a beautiful place to spend a week at St. Thomas' best beach. Sapphire Beach has a marvelous, quiet beach AND the best snorkeling reef we found after trying 4 other beaches on the island. The marina adjoins the property making for easy scheduling of fishing and pleasure trips. And this gorgeous condo itself is in the quietest area of the resort, but with quick easy access to the pool. It also has the best view the sunrise and of St. John. We'll go back!

  My husband and I stayed in Cheri's condo 2/2/2013-2/8/2013. The condo was beautiful. The views are awesome. She has decorated it very tastefully. We used the candles out on the deck a couple nights. The upstairs has a deck with vaulted ceilings. The condo was spacious. She has everything you could possibly need for your stay...no kidding! The chairs, cooler, and snorkel gear came in handy. The beach charges for the chairs and snorkel gear. I have a hard time with hotel beds because I have a bad back...her bed was so comfortable! You can walk to the top of the hill and take a safari or taxi to anywhere you may want. We didn't rent a car. Sapphire bar and grill is just past the marina and they had good food with happy hour 3-6 everyday. We met many locals there that had great advice. The location was nice because it wasn't crowded. You can take a quick trip into Redhook and eat at many different restaurants. Cruise ships do taxi people into Sapphire beach, but it is a large beach. If you want to be away from the people you can just sit at the beach in front of the condo. You can get food and drinks served to you on the beach closer to unit A and B. The best grocery store was the Food Center. They had more selection and the prices were better. Take a safari there and a private taxi back...so you don't have to walk down the steep hill. Sapphire beach had awesome snorkeling. I thought it was better than Coki beach. Make sure you take a day and go over to St. John. Trunk Bay has a beautiful beach. We went sailing with Captain Tom on H.B. Welch and had an outstanding time. He Is right there at the marina, so you don't have to get up early and take a taxi. He will let you set the sails and steer the boat. He brought us to a quiet area to snorkel. I saw sting ray and many beautiful fish. I would highly recommend staying at Cheri's condo. It felt like home. The best part was getting to know the locals. They treated us like they had known us for years.

  My husband and I stayed at Cheri's condo this past week with our four year old son. We decided to book this condo based on the pictures on vrbo and were not disappointed! The condo is beautiful -- well maintained and well decorated. We felt like we were staying at a friend's condo instead of a rental. Cheri has thought of all of the small details that made the stay comfortable including providing guests with portable beach chairs (which we took with us on day trips to St. John) and a cooler. And the best part of the condo? The VIEW! It is breath-taking! We enjoyed going to bed listening to the waves and watching the sunrise on the balcony with a cup of coffee in hand. The condo is also on sapphire beach but is located on an end unit, which meant that the beach right outside the condo is quiet and relaxing but the more "active" beach is a few yards away.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children.

  My husband and I stayed here the end of May- beginning of June. This was probably about our 9th time staying on St. Thomas. This condo was great, Cheri has thought of everything. It is beautifully decorated and no detail has been left out. There's plenty of towels, beach towels, necessities such as soaps and shampoo, hair dryers, even a Keurig coffe maker! I loved the outdoor furnishings as well, very comfortable. The only thing that I would recommend is maybe getting some wifi for guests to use. I hope to stay at the property again one day!!!

  My family and I just returned from a fantastic week in St. Thomas! We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our trip. The condo is as beautiful in person as it appears online! We had the pleasure of meeting Cheri and Chris. They offered us some great suggestions for our stay. Cheri thought of everything when creating the perfect vacation getaway with a comfortable home feeling. The views are spectacular and you have access to the marina and beaches. The beach was never crowded and snorkeling was great. My husband and son swam with the sea turtles! We were able to schedule a trip to the British Virgin Islands, rent wave runners, and go para-sailing just outside the condo! There is also a new zip-line near Magen's Bay that was a great 2-3 hour tour including 6 zip-lines and 2 suspended bridges. We spent a day at Trunk Bay on St. John's. We had a rental car, which proved to be a great thing. The restaurants in Red Hook offered a variety. We ate at Pesce twice. Fantastic Italian and seafood! Molly Molone's, Fish Tales and Amigo's all had quality food with good menus. We still had so many places we wanted to see when our week was up. We want to come back in the future and would definitely stay at Cheri's condo again! I will recommend this condo to friends and family. The process of renting was easy and Cheri was great in communicating with me throughout the planning. One of my sisters asked to me to tell her husband about it! Thank you for making our vacation such a memorable time in our lives, Cheri!

  Our family -- 2 adults and three teenagers -- is having a hard time adjusting to reality back home after we were lucky enough to stay at Cheri's beautiful condo for a week. It was one of our best vacations ever. As the photos show, the unit is absolutely gorgeous -- beautifully decorated with all the amenities you could think of, including snorkel equipment (a must for Sapphire Beach), beach chairs and a cooler. We all really miss the stunning views from the two decks and waking up and going to sleep to the sound of the waves and the feel of the breezes. Although we have rented condos during past vacations, this was the first time that we dealt directly with an owner rather than going through a more hotel-like front office. Our guidebook had suggested that, especially for this resort, the best units were to be had this way. I was a little nervous, but should not have been. From the very first inquiry Cheri was a delight to work with. She always got right back to me within hours. She was happy to share her knowledge of the island -- best beaches, restaurants, etc. She has an on-site manager to help with anything that comes up. In fact, at the beginning of the week our internet connection (which we paid a little extra for) was not working and, one evening after making a couple of calls both to Cheri, who was elsewhere in the resort, and her manager, they both showed up at the condo within a half hour and sorted out the problem! Sapphire Beach provided a terrific home base -- some days we were happy to stay there to swim, snorkel, sun or enjoy the shade of the beautiful trees when we had baked enough. Because we rented a car for the week (very glad we did), other days we went exploring -- one day the car ferry to St. John, one day to Magen's Bay, one day to the city and Drake's seat and the Mountaintop. Redhook was nearby for groceries and a number of restaurants. We did a combination of eating in (condo has extremely well-equipped kitchen and grill) and going out. Kids loved Senor Pizza and Molly Malones. Adults splurged one night at Coco Blue -- very tasty. Adults also had a great lunch near the cruise ship dock at Grand Cru. A great find for dinner one night was a Mexican restaurant with delicious food and no name (and it's not advertised) at the nearby resort Pavilions and Pools. We didn't have time to do and see everything or eat at all the restaurants we wanted to try. Maybe we'll be back -- if so, it will definitely be to Cher's condo!

  We stayed at Cheri's place for a week in January. It was absolutely beautiful and very well-maintained. The condo has everything you need for a relaxing vacation in the carribbeans. Snorkeling gears, outdoor candels, cooking pans, nice outdoor furniture... Cheri was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Will definitely consider another trip here soon.

  Thank you allowing us the privilege of staying in your lovely island condo. The view out on the turquoise blue waters are postcard quality…just dreamy; and the beach is literally right below you. The condo itself was very clean and beautifully decorated. Practically everything was brand new with refined, comfortable, beach styling & finishes. The bed and bedding were heavenly…we actually had one full day of heavy rain and we literally spent the whole day there…ah, bliss. The location is ideal for all East end activities with many dining options in Red Hook. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Cheri, again, thank you…we will back.
