The property was sold after we booked and we were very impressed with how smoothly the transition was handled. We were a little nervous but Henry (new owner) responded to all our questions in a very timely manner. The complex consists of 5 duplex units but the second unit is set back a bit from this one so you feel like you are alone. Parking is under the house and out of the sun (critical in FL) and there is a nice Weber grill and some rope swing chairs on that level. The unit is nicely furnished with easy access to the pool, ocean, and dock (though the only sane way into the ocean here is via the dock ladders). Daughter LOVED combing the coral shore for "creatures" when the tide was out and we had much fun with catch and release from the dock (grunts, snapper, even a puffer fish). Pool was small but great with multiple built-in benches. Plus, we never had to share it. Inside: We got used to the spiral staircases but it could be an issue with little ones. Porches are grand and we enjoyed the views and breezes. The house is not direct oceanfront but honestly does not matter. Tips: Best beach is Anne's at MM 73.5; Winn Dixie is north at MM 90 or so; Founders Park was a bust with extra charges for the pool we were not told about when paying but it could be good for tennis or if you have rowdy teens. Had a good meal at MEAT, which you can walk to if so motivated. Recommend Dolphin Swim at Theatre of the Sea and lunch at MM 102.5 (N Side) Fish House Restaurant/Market. All-in-all such an exceptionally relaxing and enjoyable vac that we would definitely consider returning.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We booked our townhouse just weeks before our scheduled vacation when a previous reservation elsewhere was no longer available. The landlord of the townhouse we rented at this property could not have been kinder or more helpful in guiding us through the last-minute arrangements. My husband and I needed a week of peace after a crazy winter and this place was the perfect spot for that. The beachfront is relatively small, but the pool was always clean and warm. The townhouse had ample space and we found ourselves living on the large and comfortable screen porches. It felt like a home away from home. Having a full kitchen and private washer and dryer made the week even easier. I would definitely recommend this property. We found it hard to leave on our last day.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

We enjoyed our time in B-1 of this small condo development. There are approx 6 buildings, each w/ 2 side-by-side units. The unit is clean and well-appointed with stainless steel kitchen appliances (fridge, range, dishwasher), washer & dryer, satellite tv's in LR and each BR, and wi-fi. Each room has a balcony, and the 2 balconies facing the ocean are screened and furnished. It was wonderful to completely open the sliding glass doors at night, and to hear and smell the ocean. The grounds are ok, and there is a small pool that we usually had to ourselves. There's also a long pier where boats can dock. We were able to walk to a nearby convenience store, although they didn't have much to buy except candy, chips, and beer. The beds were comfortable, but couches in the LR felt clammy (fake leather.) Floors were tiled on the main level, and carpeted in the bedrooms. A spiral staircase is the only way to move from level to level inside the unit. It conserves on space, but was somewhat awkward especially carrying luggage up or down. Each BR has a full bath, and there's a powder room on the lower level. Overall a good stay and nice experience although next time I would consider staying in the lower keys. Key West is a 2-hour drive, and many other attractions are in the lower keys.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

We hope we can go back soon! There was plenty of space for our family. Very clean and comfortable. We found everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare dinner in and really good restaurants when we didn't. We had the heated pool all to ourselves most of the time. The kids fished from the dock and chased geckos. Played tennis almost everyday at Founders Park and found some cute boutiques the afternoon it rained. Temperatures in the low 80's. Thank you for sharing your beautiful piece of heaven with us!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The perfect getaway! Definitely a "home" away from home, and not the usual rental. We snorkled, fished off the dock, and "conchy-tonked" to Key West. The rooftop was a definite bonus - great views of sunrise, sunset and stars! Visited Theater of the Sea and the Turtle Hospital which were both very interesting and well worth the time. We thoroughly enjoyed dining out at the many fine restaurants, including the Cracked Conch Cafe and Island Grill, and we were awestruck with the sunset at the Lorelei while drinking rum runners and munching shrimp on the "gliding" tables on the beach. The rental photos did not disappoint, and the pool was perfect. Of course, heartily recommend this rental to all! Thanks, Sheila, for all your help!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My wife, son and I enjoyed a very relaxing week. Views of the ocean from the 1st, 2nd and rooftop levels were great! Everything was clean and well-equiped. We would recommend this location to friends and relatives. The location in the central keys is convenient to going South or North.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Just a quick note to thank you for sharing your home. We had a great time! Weather was just awesome! Your online description was perfect. Husband and grandson had a great fishing trip on a charter boat. All enjoyed fishing off the dock. Caught that big barracuda a few times. He loves squid. Annie's Beach was fun, good side trip. Swimming with the dolphins, a memorable event. Seafood buffet at Harbor ??? was excellent. Really enjoyed having coffee early in the morning either on the beach or on the enclosed deck to watch the sunrise. Met nice people all around us. Thanks Again!!Did you find this review helpful? We (3 adults) have just returned from a wonderful week in this townhouse. We found the house exceeded our expectations in every way. We met the neighbours who were both friendly and helpful, and the complex as a whole had a very relaxing and friendly atmosphere. We enjoyed watching the birds from both the balcony and down at the beach. A super pool and pool area that we all thoroughly enjoyed. Would highly recommend and would love to return.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Recently stayed in a nicely landscaped and furnished condo in Islamorado. Tucked away from road noise and traffic, the unit opens to a view of the rising sun from the roof top deck and also good ocean views from bedrom and main levels. Generous kitchen space if you want to cook and a lovely pool and dock area as well as internet and TV if you want to connect with the world while relaxing after a great day near the water. Loved the recommendations for local arts shops and good restaurants bayside and on the ocean close by. Nice public park for walking and tennis also close! Halfway to Key West and a quick trip there for a fun day. Also close to Theater by the Sea for swimming with dolphins and arranging snorkeling tours.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We were lucky enough to be invited to stay at this beautiful tropical getaway. The attention to every detail in this townhouse made our visit truly an escape. It was secluded and private, yet we were close to some of the best restaurants and nightlife in the keys. The home is layed out well, very nicely decorated and spotless. The owners are extremely nice and easy to work with should you have any special needs. We hope to stay there again in the near future. Thanks.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Townhouse has safety features required by local government including emergency lighting. This is one of only two units in this complex licensed for weekly rentals. Property ID# 153551 and ID# 275037 I rent both of these. We are members of the Better Business Bureau and Islamorada Chamber of Commerce.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 4/5

My wife, daughter (16), and son (13) had a wonderful week at Port of Call. The weather was perfect, with a few showers overnight. We rented a 23' Angler boat that we docked at POC. With the boat we were able to explore, sightsee, fish, scuba dive and snorkel whenever and wherever we wanted to. We met several nice families that we ended up spending time with during our stay, which made it even more fun for both our kids and us. There are peacocks and iguanas on the property, and the water is alive with all sorts of fish and sea creatures. We had our own Theater of the Sea off of our dock - tarpon, nurse sharks, barracuda, and all sorts of tropical fish were ever present. My only complaint was that our week went by too quickly, so we hope to return next year for maybe 10 days. The condo is very nice and spacious with great views from either floor. The kitchen is not the one in the pictures, which show granite countertops and stainless appliances. But that aside, I would definitely stay at POC again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

Good Morning, your townhome was perfect for us! Thank-You for sharing your home with us. The house had everything we needed and is decorated and furnished very nice. Lovely views and we truly enjoyed our stay. Staying in a small complex was nice as we had the pool and beach area to ourselves most of the time. We really liked the heated pool at nite after a day at the beach or boating. The home is a perfect location for the Keys attractions and restaurants. We would go back in a heart beat. We had fantastic sorkeling and great weather. Hopefully we can rent from you again and will pass on your rental info to friends and family. Thank-you.Did you find this review helpful? I enjoyed my stay in Islandmorada. This condo was very clean and beautifully decorated. We went with two other couples and had plenty of space to spread out. I loved the pool area and my husband loved the dock and volley ball area. It felt like our own private beach. We went fishing and snorkeling also.Did you find this review helpful? The condo was beutifully decorated, very clean and inviting. It provided plenty of space my friends and I, five women, to relax and spread out. I loved the beautiful screened in porches and rooftop deck, all with views of the ocean where you could just sit and relax with a book or visit with friends. Every time I go I find something new and exciting.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
