3 Minutes to Slopes--Spacious--Kid Friendly--Best Value in Town!
- Minimum stay:3-7 nights
- Internet:Yes
- Pets allowed:No
- Wheel chair accessible:No
Our property is part of the Booth Creek Townhouses, ideally situated in one of the sunniest places in Vail with views of Vail Mountain and surrounding ranges. We are three miles from town and are right in front of the free bus stop. The views are as stunning as our home is comfortable.
The entire complex received a complete renovation in the summer of '05. Our home is updated and has enjoyed improvements each year we have owned it. It is homey and tastefully decorated with art/crafts purchased during our time living abroad. We also provide high-speed internet access via our Wi-Fi router.
Adjacent to the complex are a very fun playground and municipal tennis courts. We are located right on the bike path. Fly fishing is a few minutes walk away. The trail head to one of the best hikes (Booth Falls/Booth Lake) in town is only a ten minute walk from our home as well. Parking is right in front of the door with one stair to get into the unit. Taking the free bus into town is a great and fast alternative as we are the closest stop to town on the East Vail line.
All of our guests take the bus instead of driving as it is fast, easy, and free! If you choose to drive or drop off some skiers at at the slopes or ski school, the drive is only 3 minutes-we are closer and more economical than most 3 bedroom units you will see advertised.

Cancellation policy:
Welcome to our home! We hope you are looking forward to your stay. Fortunately, guest mishaps are very rare, however please consider the below agreement before booking. In the rare event of damage or theft, we retain the right to claiming all or a portion of the damage deposit or make a claim for the loss via the VRBO renter's insurance. When an incoming guest or our housekeeper is inconvenienced due to an unauthorized late check-out, we retain the right to withhold a justifiable amount of the damage deposit or insurance to cover the costs of the conflict. Pointers: -Your proper treatment of our home will help us keep it in tip-top shape for future stays. -Keep an eye on kids and what they flush down the toilet. We have all new carpeting downstairs due to the misfortune of one guest's child-at their cost. -For some reason, though rare, we've seen guests crank up the heat, but open the windows. Not only is it a waste of energy, but REALLY expensive. Be comfortable, but also considerate and smart about using energy and water. -Have fun!
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2003
About the owner: We are a family of five that has been skiing Vail, the world's best ski mountain, for all of our lives. However, we have been working abroad since 1997. Vail is our only US home and is decorated with wares of our travels, so we can relive old memories and create new ones each visit home.
Why the Owner Chose Booth Creek:
Booth Creek is unique because it offers that fine balance of value and convenience. It is the closest bus stop to town, so no 30 min. rides. It's on the sunny side of the valley, so no depressing winters. Fishing, hiking, biking, tennis and the wonderful playground are just right out our door and have been enjoyed by my family for the past 43 years. We are close town and can provide a great value.
We had our first child in 2002 and felt that our kids should identify with a home in the US to maintain their sense of culture and belonging. We chose Vail because my parents bought a home here in 1969. I also worked for the mountain for almost 10 years, so if we wanted a ski home, this was the place. We settled on Booth Creek, which is one block away from my childhood home, now owned by my sister.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome:
Apart from my wonderful childhood memories of the area, the sense of knowing our kids will have the same wonderful and formidable experiences gives us great pleasure. Whether it's skiing all day, or taking our youngest out for sled rides, there's always excitement in the air and access to make it happen.
One of our favorite traditions is ice skating in the new Lionshead and then ordering a pizza at Blue Moose afterward. We also love Pazzo's and have to stop there each trip. The best is just sitting around the house, playing a game in front of the wood burning fire over a glass of wine.
During the day, one can watch ice climbers attempting to reach the top of The Designator and The Fang, two famous ice fall climbs that attract climbers from all over.
In the summer, the kids love to visit the Vail Fire Dept. during a market day. Walking the Minturn Market is a blast, as well. We'll also go take a picnic deep into the Holy Cross Wilderness. Fish out in Booth or Gore Creek and walk into town.
Winter or Summer, we always go visit an historical town like Georgetown, Leadville, Red Cliff and Glenwood Springs to try and find the best burger in each area while taking in the history.
